Nothing as such. But the room was clean.

Room was clean but not good enough to stay as the privacy would be compromised. The bathroom is not attached and you have to get out of the room and avail the common bathroom which can be engaged at times. The cot is not at all comfortable and you have to call the owner even for a plate or any other stuffs. Your access will be limited to the room and basic things like cup or glasses are not readily available.

The atmosphere

There should be an attached bathroom.

Everyone is very friendly. Their behaviour is so good. Aunt is so friendly and guide us how to travel and visit the popular places. They never let us feel we are away from home. Thanks to owner and also booking.com

I have spent the night in many hotels, for the first time in my life I have had a home stay and I swear my experience has been wonderful. I didn't even feel that I am 550 km away from my home. It was as if it was my own home. There was no feeling of renter and owner there. All the members of Ram Kuthir were just like members of the family. According to me, Ram kuthir is the best in one of the best option in Kolkata. In which you will get a very homely atmosphere and a wonderful family full of security and a loving mother who takes care of everyone in less money. She hardly knows Hindi but she talks with so much love that even Bengali will start coming to you. मैंने बहुत से होटलों में रात गुजारी है, जिंदगी में पहली बार कोई होम स्टे किया है और कसम से मेरा experience बहुत ही लाज़वाब रहा है। मुझे थोड़ा भी फील हुआ ही नहीं की मैं अपने घर से 550km दूर हूं। ऐसा लग रहा था जैसे की ये मेरा खुद का घर हो। वहां पर रेंटर और ओनर वाली फीलिंग थी ही नहीं। राम कुठीर के सभी सदस्य एक दम घर के सदस्य की तरह थे। मेरे हिसाब से वन ऑफ द बेस्ट ऑप्शन में राम kuthir ही बेस्ट है कोलकाता के अंदर में।जिसमे आपको कम पैसे में ही एक दम घर जैसा माहौल और सुरक्षा से भरपूर एक शानदार परिवार और एक सभी का देखभाल करने वाली प्यारी मां मिलेगी। हिंदी उनको कम ही आती है पर वो इतने प्यार से बात करती हैं की बांग्ला भी आपको आने लगेगी। Thank you Ram kuthir all members 🙏🙏🙏🙏
