No parking available and I had to park 10-15mins walk.
Had I been made aware prior to booking that there are significant parking issues (only limited paid parking £20 per night) , I would have booked else where.

We chose this hotel because it had "parking available on site". In reality this required you to call the hotel and book ahead of time. (Something that had not been made clear). Once we arrive we found this out and the carpark was fully booked. We later found out from staff that they only have a few spaces and chances of ever geting one was incredibly unlikely.
We were given a list of 3 parking options that were "close by". The first was a rugby ground who told us "this is matchday parking, you cant park here - we've asked the hotel to stop sending guests here". He then told us that on the list of 3 the second was actually the hospital which is meant for patiens and expensive. We managed to park in the 3rd option but this was 10 minutes walk away from the hotel, and any stay over 4hours was £25.
As such I had yo walk to get the car and drive to pick up my partner every time we went out. This took a lot of time each day and was costing £75 a day. We were in an accessibility room so this was even more challenging for us.
Had I known in advance that the advertised parking didn't exist in any way that was actually usable - I would have stayed somewhere else and not had to pay so much in parking.
The rest of the hotel was passible but by no means good.

It was a lovely hotel, very quirky and spacious. The decor was amazing! The room was spacious and clean. The bar looked nice and chilled. Breakfast was good lots of choice and very fresh!
Only downfall was lack of accessible parking I had to park in the hospital.

Easy to check in. Room was nice. large TV. one thing i could not get the BBC Red button to work just to check the news. but not major Problem, I found BBC 6 Music on the TV which was good. Breakfast was good food was warm thick bread for toast was good, two toasters and two coffee machines. good choice at breakfast. The bathroom was nice shower was good but i did flood the floor a little bit and the rails on the floor put my foot on them twice which hurt a bit. but pain went quickly so any one reading this try to step over them. The staff were great receptionist gave me a map of city centre. and pointed me in the right direction for the Musician for my gig that i have come for. Any one going to stay there it is next to the Leicester Tigers rugby Ground and Nelson Mandela park. If you need to ask some body.in street where the hotel is. it is about 10 to 15 mins walk from Railway station.

The worst experience I have ever had in a hotel total chaos no parking no communication.
Went to restaurant after a long day and no Chicken , steak or lamb available on the menu.....all sold out.....incredible....would never consider staying again

parking needs to be reserved before you arrive, other then that hotel is very clean and new, also a gin a tonic costs more then a classy bar in Mayfair, London so be aware!
asked for a wake up call for 10.30am its now 10.40am and still no wake up call

Fantastic stay, hotel exceeded expectations. Reception staff were excellent, check in and out was quick and easy. Great decoration and theming around the hotel. Bed was very comfortable and there were great amenities in the room.

Best thing about this hotel was always the impressive showers. The ceiling drencher shower head was half blocked so resorted to use the small handheld sprayer. The hotel is definitely now cutting corners since it has been purchased by IHG, be warned it is not the same hotel as when it was The Brooklyn.

I recently stayed at the voco Leicester for one night over the weekend, and I’m pleased to say that my experience was excellent. Having stayed here multiple times back when it was known as Brooklyn, I was excited to see the transition to voco, and it did not disappoint. The hotel continues to impress with its high standards and welcoming atmosphere.
As an IHG member, I was delighted to be offered a complimentary late check-out, which made my stay even more relaxing. The amenities were top-notch, and the breakfast was particularly enjoyable, with a good variety of options to start the day right.
Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and couldn’t find any faults. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the hotel itself has maintained its charm while offering the quality and perks associated with the voco brand. I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit to Leicester!

Can hear noise if someone is walking past your room at night. There was a bit of light coming through from the top of the curtain. Bed was comfortable. Room was a good size. Parking is £20 per night at hotel.

My stay was lovely, the room was great with good facilities. Not enough parking and quite expensive but the hotel is very central.
Staff were very helpful and I really enjoyed my stay. Also reasonably priced which is important to me; I will be returning

A decent hotel with attentive staff. My only issue was with parking. There is very limited parking space at the hotel (190 rooms, 20 parking spaces I was told). When I arrived I managed to get a parking space. However, fours hours after I arrived, I received an automated email stating that parking spaces had to be booked in advance. I went to reception and they told me that the car park was fully booked and that I would have to move my car. THey also told me that it is clearly stated on Hotels.com that parking has to be booked in advance. I double-checked and on the front page it just says that there is parking available. After a lot of digging I found some reference to the need to pre-book parking. That information should have been more explicit within the top description of the hotel. It didn't affect my stay much it was just inconvenient to have to move my car. Luckily I had only had a couple of siops of my beer by then.

The hotel and our room were good as always.
We booked an evening meal in the not very busy restaurant but the service was amazingly slow meaning we didn't bother with a pudding or coffee.
