Very comfortable and close to Solvang

Really cute little motel in a cozy area, not far at all from the city of Solvang. Had no front desk - they ask you to call them to receive check-in information.

Perfect spot for a night or two

This property is easy accessible, clean and decorated with attention to detail and comfort. It isn't big, but has everything you need and is charming! I will be back soon.

Loved this quaint motel. Bonus you get to use Sideways Inn gym, which is a really great facility. Had a lovely time.

The room was comfortable and clean, which I really appreciated. Although I’m not used to staying in hotels without a flat sheet, I was assured that the duvet is washed after every guest, which put me at ease. The location, nestled between two motels, initially made me a bit skeptical, but it turned out to be very quiet. My only complaint was a towel that had a stain on it—we weren’t sure if it was just a stain or if it hadn’t been cleaned properly.

We loved how convenient and clean this property was. It had everything we needed, and there were several fun games and amenities both in and around the rooms that added to the ambiance. We'd stay here again!

It was different not to have a clerk at front desk. Instructions were good to check in. The towels were very small, they didn’t cover a womans average size. It was hard to watch TV, TV was on a side wall.

We were doing a road trip from the Bay Area to Santa Ynez and needed a hotel for just one night. We really wanted an individual room for each of the four of us. Hotel Hygge made that possible due to its affordability. The shabby chic feel of the rooms, ease of communication and cleanliness all was appreciated.

Went up for a getaway and found this no frills great hotel.

Perfect place to stay, especially as a solo traveler. I really just needed a place to sleep for my dog and I and this was the perfect place. The AC was a tad bit loud but did the job.

The room was small and nicely put together perfect for a one night stay. 10/10 bed one of the best beds i have slept on in my life! I woke up so well rested!

Everything about this hotel was wonderful

There were no staff, the mattress was not good.

Last time when my husband spent the night there, he kept hearing people slamming the doors He was there for work, the next-door roommates. It’s a good place to stay, but the walls are very thin you can hear everything.

I didn't know what to expect since this was the first time staying here. Self check in was easy! Staff communicated via email and text. Answered immediately when I called. Great stay and great price. Highly recommend!

Great sleep over place on the way to UCSB. Clean and well kept. Not too far to drive in the morning to our destination. Good value.

Just wrong code was sent not able to get into room until we called and got correct code .

Great stay if your traveling through the town to stay over night. Its just what you need a clean bed,shower & AC to cool off.

Good value for the price and great location. They should fix all the fire pits and make sure the rugs are clean upon check in

It’s all around perfect. Super cute, clean & has everything you need. I will stay here every time I’m needing a place to stay in the area.Just a heads up, the walls are thin, the shower is lacking in pressure and if you were on the bigger side the shower would be too small. Also the a/c is louder than it needs to be but still all around top notch!
