Wonderful stay at this hotel. Staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to make our time in Hanoi very special.

The ideal location in the heart of Hanoi my wife and we really enjoyed our stay here and we give this hotel five stars we had a balcony deluxe suite which was absolutely perfect, plenty of room for three large suitcases in a special area of the suitea huge balcony and an amenities filled bathroom all the staff were wonderfully attentive and informative always with a smile We shared cocktails at happy hour on the rooftop bar on the 13th floor giving us a wonderful view of the city We highly recommend this Hotel

This stuff is extremely friendly. They’ll do anything for you. We love the restaurant in the hotel in the chef is very creative with excellent quality and creativity. The area next to the hotel has a lot of shops to offer. We will definitely come back.

The hotel location is good. You can go all the sightseeing spots in the old quarter on foot. There are a convenience store and a supermarket near the hotel. What I liked most about the hotel was the quiet atmosphere of the room and great service. As I mentioned above, the hotel is in a busy area but the room is quiet enough to sleep comfortably. All the staff kindly help me to walk around the old quarter. Especially I cannot thank you enough for that they let me take a shower before I left for the airport even though after I checked out the hotel.

From the moment we arrived the hotel, we were greeted with warm welcome, drinks refreshment and smooth check-in process. Room is spotlessly clean and spacious. As any boutique hotel in Hanoi old quarter, the hotel is small size but they decorate all interior surrounding neatly and artistic. Breakfast is semi buffet and a la carte style. Again their service is quick and attentive. Some with limited english but you can definitely tell they’re trying their best. Location is right next to hoan kiem lake. Its undoubtedly most strategic place to live in hanoi old quarter area.

Mr. Erik, the restaurant manager, made every meal special with his attention to detail and exceptional service. The cuisine was decent with a range of western dishes as well as classic Vietnamese dishes, more selection of fruit would be favourable! The housekeeping team also deserves a special mention. They kept my room immaculate throughout my stay, adding thoughtful touches that made me feel truly at home. Overall, L’hôtel du Lac exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of outstanding service, a welcoming atmosphere, and the dedication of staff like Jolie, Emma, Mr. Erik, and the housekeeping team made my stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place close to everything and with such lovely people!

Found the best place to stay in Hanoi. Just the right location to start our tours. The hotel staff are welcoming and courteous. Breakfast was great. Hotel was clean. Service was excellent.

First time living in this hotel. Great location if you'd prefer a more domestic Vietnamese lifestyle; this hotel is at the heart of the Old Quarter, just a couple minutes' walk to Hoàn Kiếm Lake and St. Joseph Cathedral church. All the staff are well-trained, friendly and easy to communicate if you need anything. Overall a perfect first-time staying experience.

Staying a L’HÔTEL du LAC Hanoi was truly a 5-star experience from top to bottom. I can't recommend it strongly enough for anyone that is looking for luxury in the heart of The Old Quarter. Close to everything but still quiet and relaxing once you step inside and are greeted by smiling, well-trained staff that rival the best I've seen anywhere in the world.

After a very disappointing rental with Air B&B, we left after one night and booked the remainder of our stay with LHotel du Lac, Hanoi. 5 Stars does not express how pleased we were with our stay. ALL the staff is OUTSTANDING - accommodating, generous, friendly, kind, helpful. They treated us as royalty from the time we entered their lobby through the moment we entered our cab to leave for the airport. While our room was a little snug, it was spotlessly clean, well equipped for our comfort, and in excellent repair. The included breakfasts were outstanding offering a variety of Vietnamese and International options all excellently prepared and beautifully presented. After a long day of touring the city we enjoyed a special evening at their Sky Bar offering delicious drinks and a great view of Hanoi. If you are going to Hanoi, STAY AT THE LHOTEL DU LAC!!! You will love this hotel. We did.
