There is something for everyone. We have to buy more toilet paper, paper towel, etc,,, but it is not a big deal overall.

The property was perfect for the eight of us....very spacious,clean, and very comfortable beds. The A/C was so important as a heat wave was upon us, and we were very happy with the relief it provided. The location was handy to everywhere we wanted to go. The kitchen was well-appointed and we all wanted to take the huge refrigerator home with us!
Kellen, the property manager was easy to contact and very helpful. We would highly recommend The Mount!

Considering we were gathering for a memorial service at St.George's Church, the nearby location was ideal...and for a family with members from 10-85, the variety of bedrooms and gathering rooms was superb.
Additionally, the communication with the management of this property was flawless. Much appreciated!!!

We had our family gathering for Easter weekend, making family dinners, going to the beach, watching silly movies and an easter egg hunt. The property was great, close to the beach and other walking areas. The house was beautiful and had plenty of space to spread out without feeling like we were cramped. Kitchen was well stocked and the whole house was comfortable. Contact with the owner was quick and helpful. Would highly recommend this place.

I must admit to a not so good first impression because all of our previous family vacations happened to have occurred in newer construction homes. But we all quickly grew to love this place and our time together. First and foremost, the lovely beach being within walking distance was priceless! …to a great ice cream place too! And only a short ~2 mile drive to supermarket. Ogunquit a mere 15 minutes away.
My only disappointment was that neither master has an en suite. All bathrooms are accessible from common areas.
But this place is great! Beds comfortable, everything clean, good kitchen to work in.

The property was as described and we enjoyed it very much. I gave the location 4 stars because it was on a busy street. My only recommendation is that the owner put up window treatments in two of the second floor bedrooms. The sun just poured in very early in the morning. We did find some curtains that we taped up in one of the rooms. However, for a property that nice and that costly we shouldn’t have had to do that. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay very much.

We stayed here to be closer to my daughter's wedding venue. It is a beautiful house with lots of room .
Amenities were plentiful, including a basket of essentials, dish soap, trash bags etc. I would suggest adding dog poop bags, although we did have our own
The bedrooms were wonderful, a few had gas fireplaces.
There were a lot of items on display which I worried about children breaking, all went well with no mishaps.
The "fenced in yard" is only good if you have a very well behaved dog. It is a "wired" fence which has lots of opportunities to escape. I would suggest bringing and alternative lead line to keep your pup safe as the house is on a busy road.
My grandbabies really enjoyed Otis (you'll have to find him) and the cubby. The 5 year old especially was happy with the basket of stuffies, so you can leave yours at home : )
All bedrooms are up 1 or 2 flights of stairs .
The house is quiet, the front porch is delightful to hang out in the evening.
It is close to walkways along the harbor which some quests were able to enjoy. Lots of restaurants nearby .

Perfect house to welcome and host out-of-state family members, with plenty of space both indoors and out! Absolutely gorgeous area, and close proximity to outlet shopping, beaches and restaurants.

Our large extended family had a wonderful stay at "The Mount." The property is accurately described and even better and larger in person--with lots of extra "bonus" spaces, especially the porches. House was in pristine condition, beautifully decorated and very well furnished. Kitchen is grand new and has everything you need and more. Bedrooms are large and the beds were comfortable. Easy easy easy walk to York Harbor beach and nearby sites. Owner/property manager had SUPERB communications--perhaps our best VRBO experience yet in this regard. Being dog-friendly was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend.
