I was in town for a workshop and my husband used the cottage WiFi to work one day and then used it as base camp for hiking. The location and amenities were ideal. So many thoughtful touches throughout, and high quality linens. The place was just lovely and the hosts were gracious and helpful. Highly recommend.

Junebug Cottage was a top notch place to stay and we enjoyed every minute of it! It is clean, well kept, and has everything needed for your stay. John is very hospitable and easy to communicate with. We loved the space and even spent some time reading on the back patio. Definitely recommend this place!

We spent the weekend and had a wonderful time. The property was conveniently located near the center of town while still being very quiet and private. The cottage is perfect for a couple’s weekend getaway. Great spot if you want to have a jumping off point to explore the area. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I visited Woodstock for a long weekend away from NYC and stayed at Junebug Cottage. It was perfect for our needs--clean, comfortable, stylish, and only a 15-minute walk into town and a 10-minute-or-so drive to the Overlook Mountain trailhead and Opus40. Communication with John, our host, was easy and clear. The guest cottage is near the main house, but our hosts established a sense of privacy and autonomy for us with their clear communication via VRBO's messaging platform and curtains in the cottage. They also provided some homey welcoming touches, like sparkling water and coffee, which were there for us when we arrived. We also enjoyed visiting the restaurants that John recommended. We would love to stay here again!

Perfect! We loved the Junebug cottage! The location was very close to the village, but far enough away to experience the peaceful nature and wildlife. Mollie and John were wonderful hosts, & very easy to communicate with. The cottage was beautifully renovated and artistically decorated! They suggested Sloan Preserve for a morning hike and Opus 40 in Saugerties; a breathtaking sculptural garden created by one artist over 37 years! Do not miss it! We enjoyed our weekend away and look forward to returning to the Junebug cottage very soon! ✌️❤️😊

We had a lovely stay at the junebug cottage. John and Molly could not have been better hosts. The cottage was clean and bright and cozy. We appreciated that our hosts were communicative and sent us lists of fun things to do in the area and great restaurant recommendations. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect in every way! Walked into town and easy access to drive around the area. Top notch finishes and personal care products. Lay out was amazing for a couple with plenty of space. Comfortable bed and linens! Everything was fresh and cozy. We didn’t need any climate control but was happy to see heating, cooling and fans. Friendly hosts and welcoming town.

We had a wonderful time in Woodstock staying at the Junebug Cottage. The property is central to all activities in the Woodstock area and easily walkable to downtown. The cottage itself was very cozy and comfortable. John and Molly were very friendly and helpful and shared some wonderful recommendations for activities. I would recommend staying at the Cottage for anyone interested in spending time in Woodstock.

This beautifully appointed cottage is exactly as listed. We enjoyed such a peaceful, comfortable weekend in the Catskllls. Our only disappointment was having to leave so soon! We truly enjoyed our stay in Woodstock. The cottage is well stocked with everything you need. John and Molly are next-door and responsive to any questions you might have. It was very peaceful sitting in the backyard seeing the deer roaming in the field next-door in the woods behind the property is within walking distance of the town. We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Sylvia’s for dinner and a delicious breakfast at the Phoenicia diner. Don’t hesitate to book this cottage. It’s a wonderful place to stay.

The cottage was a perfect place for our trip to the Catskills, just 5 minutes from downtown Woodstock. The cottage was clean and had a cute modern look with modern decor and new utilities. The bathroom was adorable and came fully stocked with nice bath products such as shampoo and body wash. There were toothbrushes as well, but be brought our own. The den/tv space was just the right size. It was a cozy place to sit in the evening, where you could log into your own Netflix account. There is a side patio that offers privacy and a view of the woods. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to get by for the stay. I enjoyed the coffee beans and French press! I liked that we could put our food waste into a compost pot. Just our style. The hosts were kind and made sure everything was all set for us. They respond to messages in a timely manner through the VRBO app. We fully enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Very well & thoughtfully appointed by the hosts - they fit in everything you need & more, & plenty of space to rest or work from when not out & about. John & Mollie had great area recommendations, & made everything easy.

Cottage was very clean and had what we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the back patio area for coffee and breakfast, loved listening to the birds and watching the deer. Could walk to town in less than 15 minutes. great spot for a long weekend in woodstock. cottage was about 2 miles from Levon Helm Studio.

Booked a small getaway for my girlfriend and me. The Junebug Cottage was very cute and extremely well maintained. John and Mollie were super friendly and made sure our stay was extra special! The cottage was immaculate. A very short drive to the center of Woodstock. The bed was comfortable and the quality of the bed linens were great. The kitchen had everything we needed. The shower in the bathroom was huge and we loved all the quality products. So nice to have complimentary toothbrushes and toothpaste. Sofa in living room was also comfortable and huge TV had a lot of channels. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it. John and Mollie were excellent hosts.

you should stop comparing other properties/prices and just book this one. my best friend and i booked junebug on a whim for a weekend away from nyc and WOW i am incredibly thankful that we did. john and mollie are the absolute best - so kind, thoughtful & caring. the property is beautiful and the cottage is beyond anything we imagined. there is something so so special here that i can't quite put my finger on... but you can feel how intentionally welcoming and warm every single detail is from the first second you step in. after reading all of the other reviews i didn't really think our stay would live up to the hype. i am SO happy to have been proven SO wrong. i have never felt so relaxed and at peace as i did here. honestly you just won't fully understand the reviews until you visit soooo just book it and go enjoy a perfectly dreamy stay in upstate ny 😌
