Comfy bed, Very good location. Watch out that its a 4 stars, they advertise as 5 stars on booking.com, all in all good decor etc.

Breakfast is very average, cappuccino really is below average in the restaurant.

bar in lobby was not staffed....attendant was delivering to rooms and not serving in lobby bar...

Check in was very easy. We were able to check in a bit earlier so that helped us with our bag situation. We also appreciated the assistance with getting our luggage up the stairs and then to our room. We also loved our room with a view over the city, and really enjoyed the rooftop bar in the evening. It was such a beautiful place to relax and take the views of the entire city. We also really liked that even though it was a bit further away from the esplanadi, there were lots of restaurants, and shopping that was a short walk away and open late. We caught a #4 tram just down the road which took us to everything.

I feel that while the food was very nice for breakfast, there were not as many options as we'd experienced at another hotel when we arrived in Helsinki. We felt that it was not as authentic in regard to Finnish food and was more American.

Misleading Rating and Inconvenient Experience at Sokos Hotel My recent experience with Sokos Hotel left me greatly disappointed and frustrated. Despite the claim on Booking.com that it is a five-star hotel, it turns out that in Finland they are not part of the official hotel rating system. Instead, the rating is based solely on user reviews, and in my case, it was a misleading representation of the hotel's quality. Arriving at the hotel late at night, my companions and I were taken aback to discover that Sokos Hotel did not offer any parking facilities. It was already 1 am, and we were left in a predicament, forced to wander around Helsinki in search of parking. This inconvenience added unnecessary stress and wasted valuable time during our stay. Feeling frustrated and exhausted from the search, we eventually decided that it would be best to find an alternative hotel that could provide us with the necessary parking arrangements. This unexpected turn of events resulted in additional costs and a significant disruption to our travel plans. The lack of parking facilities at a hotel claiming to be of such caliber is simply unacceptable. In a bustling city like Helsinki, one would expect a reputable hotel to provide convenient parking options for its guests
