Mir hat alles sehr gut gefallen, Deshalb habe ich in diesem Hotel bereits das dritte Mal gebucht. Mich hat gefreut dass das Zimmer diesmal beheizt war, die gesamte Ambiente absolut stimmte. Ich finde das Balkönchen mit Seesicht traumhaft und das Zimmer gepflegt. Die Lage des Hotels ist grandios und der Anschluss an die ÖVs (Bus) gut erreichbar.
Das gesamte Personal war äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Ascona ist ein Hit!
Nun, das Zimmer war klein, das habe ich gewusst und stimmte so für mich. Das Hotel ist äusserst ringhörig. Die Wände lassen jeden Husten, jedes Gespräch durch. Ich hatte bis anhin Glück, rücksichtsvolle Zimmernachbarn zu haben. Diesmal fehlte es nicht an der Rücksicht, sondern dass ein Zimmernachbar stark erkältet war, keinen Schlaf fand, lange den Fernseher eingeschaltet hatte. Ich stopfte mir die Oropax in die Ohren, das half!

Amazing location, right next to city center. I had a room with a balcony directly overlooking the lake! The breakfast was well-stocked and delicious. The staff were all very helpful.
Cold water was not always available: for some reason, the water coming out of the cold tap could be anything from cold to almost hot. (Its temperature varied randomly from time to time.)

Quite noisy being above the terraces of the restaurants. People chatting is OK, but there's a lady playing the violin with a speaker, blasting the same 3 cheesy songs over and over again it's VERY annoying.
Rooms are quite small and outdated, would be nice to renovate a bit

The view over the lake is fantastic. The location of the hotel is right on the lakeshore, amongst lots of restaurants and cafes. Because of that it was sometimes a little noisy a night - but nothing too bad.
This is quite a traditional hotel so the facilities are not super modern ... but is fine for a few nights stay.

Small and very hot room in need of renovation. Breakfast set-up on the terrace at 06.00 means a lot of noise. The rooms are inexpensive for the location, but you need to be a sound sleeper!
