There is not much to say at all in the negative but here are some positives that my family expressed to me over the course of the week:
1)location was great. Easy access to the beach.
2)The home is huge and easily accommodated our family of 8.
3)The overall condition of the home was very good.
4)We enjoyed having all the kitchen necessities including two refrigerators was great.
5)we loved the private pool.
6)Having enough bathrooms for everyone was terrific.
7)Good storage
8)We liked to at all the bedrooms each had access to the balcony.
9)We loved the each of the larger bedrooms had king beds.
10)The balcony space above the pool is fantastic.
11)The homes lighting is natural and bright.
12)Having a shower and hose under the home is very useful.
13)Plenty of parking for so many cars with room to spare.
14)Having a partial view of the gulf was great.
15)The AC is great
16)The variety of outdoor seating is amazing.

This property is in a great location. Not too far from restaurants/stores but not right on top of them. And it’s right across from the beach access so it really is just as good as beach front for less $$$. The pool is worth its weight in gold. While we were there there was a red flag one day and purple flags all week so having a pool as backup when the water was too rough or there were too many jellies was amazing. Important to note however; I wouldn’t count on the pull-out sofa as one of your beds because that sofa is old and squeaky (it was really the only thing that needed replaced) and just wasn’t comfortable enough for any of my kids to sleep on for a week so we shuffled around and made it work. Overall I would stay here again because this house was perfect for our family!

95% positive, one big negative. The house was great, the private pool was great, and the entrance to the public beach was right across the street. A market was located a block or so away, and grocery and drug stores were just a couple of miles away on 59 or a little farther in Orange Beach. Parking can be an issue. Sand and gravel run from the pool down into the street making it unclear where the property ends and the public line begins and cars pull in up to the pool wall almost every day leaving their cars there for hours. One of our cars was blocked in under the house for hours, and when I called bama beach houses for help, they said there was nothing they could do. Something as simple as parking curbs, landscape fencing, and proper signage would go a long way toward fixing this problem. I loved the house, hated the parking issue.

Stayed in the south side of Sea Urchins. Great place to stay with a large group. It's right across from the beach and is in a convenient location. We would love to return to this house again! Bama Beach Houses was very easy to work with, helpful and informative!

Amazing location! The house was exactly as described and very clean. being across the street from the beach entry was so nice! Richard was helpful and responsive and we hope to book again next summer!

Everything was good until we had a cockroach come out of the love seat. You could use some lights on the fans above the dining room tables. The toilet upstairs toward the gulf would not always shut off. We loved the place.

Everything was WONDERFUL and we can't say enough about how great your house was to stay in! We had one small issue with the pool not working right, but I texted the number that texted me the entry code and they came out the next day, were very nice and quick and took care of everything! We loved this area so much that we would actually like to book again for next year through you but we will need a bigger place as we are bringing more of the family 😬. Again, thanks for everything, we all had the best time!

It was awesome as usual apart from the house not have been cleaned when we arrived. I called the contact number and it was taken care of within an hour or so. The house is beautiful and my family has been staying there almost every year since it's been built. We were the second family to ever rent it and I'm sure we'll be back. 🍻

The house was absolutely amazing! One of the best vacation homes we have stayed in. The view of the ocean/walk to beach is top notch when you aren't staying by oceanfront. We really felt like we were ocean front. Really we had no complaints!

We absolutely LOVE Sea Urchins South! Don't think we can swing it next year... Hopefully, in 2025! We had 3 families from Texas + 2 from WV = 15 of us. Plenty of room, everything worked, love the pool and great access to beach.
Looks like the unit has been updated/painted/etc. since we were there last year. Much appreciated! Stairs were shiny, everything was clean - kudos to the cleaning crew!

We had such a very nice time at Sea Urchin. Everything was clean. We had lots of space to spread out. Being able to see the Gulf from the living room and decks was a nice bonus! Having a private pool just to us on our side was also a nice difference and was great with the pandemic going on.

We have rented through several places in Gulf Shores and the people at Bama Beach Houses are always very responsive. They also care about your experience and are open to suggestions about their property. We have really enjoyed renting from them over the last several years.

We had the best time on our family vacation. This house was the perfect fit for the 20 of us. It was the perfect location from the beach and even from other activities in Gulf Shores.
The only downside of this house was it had lots of ants. I don't know if this is a normal thing for the specific area or if the property isn't like deep cleaned regularly. They mostly lived around the rugs and on the first level. We made sure to have all the food cleaned up to limit the number of ants coming out.

We had an amazing time at Rick's home. The house was perfecr foe our family and lots of extra beds. The pool was amazing and we spent everyday there after the beach. Access to the beach was right across the street and took only a minute to get to the white sands. My only feedback was having more towels a available. But we had a great time at the house and made lots of memories. We would definitely return!

This house was fantastic! We had 17 people staying ranging from 5 years old to 68. We all had plenty of space and the house was very clean. We didn't cook much but from what I could tell there were plenty of utensils, pots and pans, plates, cups, etc. The distance to the ocean is very doable and the pool area is wonderful! We would love to stay in this house again in the future.

5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a giant living/gathering area (both inside and out), a short crosswalk to the beach and a private full-sized pool = a week full of giggles, laughter and family fun!

All the family enjoyed it from 2 year old to 58 year old.. we had full house. Plenty of room, well kept, great access to beach. Pool was great, two fridges was great. Plenty of parking space. Over all a 10.... We plan to go again...
Could use a safety gate for stairs leading to pool. One gate on side balcony to divide the two houses...

Wonderful week on the beach with family. We had 15 in our group & never felt cramped. The decks & pool were great. Our grandkids loved plating in the pool & access to the beach is excellent

Amazing stay! House was super clean and more than accommodating for our group of 6 adults and 10 kids. We had an issue with one of the bathroom drains which was addressed right away. Awesome having beach access right across the street. Private pool was such a great amenity. Company had someone clean the pool and take care of the trash. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!!
