Warm clean room, I had farmhouse 2 room. All the amenities needed for my stay. Quiet when the vent noise wasn't on.
Not the easiest to find the room, although instructions given when you've not been to a place previously.
There was an boiler or bathroom ventilation type noise the whole time I was there in an adjacent room. It would go off for about 45 seconds, then back on for 3 or 4 minutes, for the whole stay I was there, not sure what it was.
Small TV had no ITV channels on TV, and TV right up in the corner of the room by the roof, strange one.
Shower took a few minutes to disperse the water in wet room.

Convenient for an overnight stop whilst visiting family.

Lots of plumbing noises in the background
Limited space around the bed, no room for a bedside cupboard or table on one side.
Complicated access with access codes and a key safe to negotiate. This would be very difficult in the dark.
No humans about or reception.
Overnight car parking some distance away from accommodation via a slippery, badly lit sloping path.

the room had all the charm & warmth of a cell in a open prison.
what we thought was going to be a quaint cottage turned out to be single roomed student accommodation.
it’s also not part of Wentworth Castle but the adjacent college.

property is not suitable for elderly,or anyone really arriving after dark,, check in was a nightmare , contactless check in needs to be better organised

It is advertised as Wentworth Castle it is in the college grounds an you can not get to the castle grounds from the accommodation. Was advertised that the veiw from the room was of the grounds, in fact it was of a court yard with a picnic bench in it.

Clean and convenient position for Wentworth Castle and Elsicar. Wi-Fi available.
Felt like a student room with 2 single beds in a small narrow room. Only kettle and no fridge .

Poor signage to find accommodation- no staff to sign post you . Took 40 minutes.

The location was convenient for me, the views in the morning were quite lovely. The room was spacious enough but very basic.
I arrived by myself late at night and it was so difficult to work out where everything was in the dark. The different codes for carparks and locks made it feel like some kind of spy mission. Best to arrive in day light or take a torch. The room was VERY basic - definitely not like the bed in the cover image at all. The info also said there was a fridge and there wasn't (a shame as I had brought fresh food for breakfast).
It felt like student lodgings - I was also allocated a disabled room which was spacious but sparse.
My laptop screen is probably bigger than the TV screen...
It did the job, but I guess I hoped for more.
