Beyond mediocre, all round below par hotel experience. Walk 2 mins further and you have actual hotels with amazing staff and double the room size and amenities for the same price.

Cleanliness - The room was not very clean when we arrived, not freshly cleaned before arrival and dusty. The toilet haven't been cleaned for a while, it was visibly dirty. Definetly not 4 stars hotel. Also, the building is actually a students dorm. Breakfast was ok, but not too many options.

The hotel is located in a great place only minutes away from the train/bus station of Eindhoven. The breakfast was plenty and quite nice (not included in the standard room reservation). One could access laundry/ironing facilities in the hotel.

I had a great experience with this hotel in Vienna but the experience in Eindhoven was so bad I will avoid this chain for future stays. The experience: I checked in for a studio room (I made a reservation through their website but had to make this extra one with booking). The room was not spacious as the photos showed and I quickly realised that the staff had failed to do basic cleaning of the room. The kettle in the room looked nasty with a full layer of dirt on top of it. The kitchen did not have lights so it was quite dark to see. The faucet from the kitchen was wobbly and one of the buttons in the toilet was not working. I, of course, made a remark to management about the state of the room. They changed me to another room (which was reasonable). Throughout the process the person who made the change kept on telling me that "those were details" and that she understood the issues but it was "minor". After going to the other room I noticed that the faucet of this room also was broken, it was leaking water throughout my stay. They mentioned my stay included a hotel bike but made it a point to not let me park my own bike in the parking place as it was not their bike -- unreasonable (why would one rent a bike when one has their own?) I asked the reception for help as I needed a screw driver, the person looked at me like I was disturbing them (?) and proceeded to tell me they did not have any. Then I went back and asked someone else who very kindly lent it to me.

As I got into my assigned room I found a small issue but the staff rapidly took action and politely and professionally supported me.
