Calum and his staff are superb and the meals the best we had in Sri Lanka.

The road noise in the twin rear apartment the villas are fine.

The beds were comfortable and the garden and sea views were wonderful. The room was very clean and the villa was beautifully decorated. The staff was friendly and helpful. We felt very secure because the security staff constantly checked the property.

We booked the twin room with sea view but when we arrived the room looked totally different than on booking. The villa promised several things such as a tv in the room, infinity pool, slippers, outdoor and indoor shower in the twin room, ground floor access in the twin room but they were not present in the villa. The biggest problem for us are the misleading photos. When we booked the twin room the photos were those of the king room so when we arrived we were disappointed because the room looked different than expected. The staff were very friendly but at breakfast there was an awkward atmosphere. The staff looked very nervous as like we were the first guests in the villa ever. We took breakfast at 7 a.m. but at 8 a.m. there was still almost nothing on the table. We had to ask for everything. The villa is situated at a VERY busy road therefore you will not be able to sleep well. At this moment several things were changed on booking because we complained but the photos are still misleading because we saw the king room in a brief moment and it was very small compared to the photos and only the first photo when you click on the twin room is a correct photo the other photos are photos of the king room. The photos of the rooms are mixed up. Because we experienced these problems we would have thought that the villa manager would have done a gesture but we had to pay the full amount even the tea and one lemonade in the afternoon weren't given complimentary.
