Ive stayed in a lot of great hotels around the world, but Haritha was my favourite. It’s in a stunning location, you feel as if you are in a rainforest, not just moments from the beach. The facilities are wonderful, we adored our villa. The staff are exceptional, and nothing was too much for Priya, who looked after us so well. We wanted for nothing when we were there. In fact we loved it so much we changed our plans and extended our stay there. The owner is a force of nature who ensures that your experience is bliss from beginning to end. As he is Italian, unsurprisingly there is a focus on good food! Haritha is not just a hotel; it is an experience and we can’t recommend it more highly.

attention to detail everywhere was unsurpassed. fantastic food. helpful and attentive staff who couldn’t do enough for us. incredibly peaceful but close enough to get to the busy local beaches by Tuc tuc. quality of accommodation in all areas. totally recommend for a relaxing five star experience. a special mention to Lochana, our personal butler who was fabulous, Dulip who gave the most wonderful yoga classes, and to the chefs. every meal was totally delicious. all the gardening staff were so lovely, smiling and giving welcoming greetings whenever we encountered them. thank you to everyone. The general manager was so charming and always on hand to ensure our stay was an experience we will recommend to all.

This is a unique, beautifully designed property. The grounds are spectacular and the facilities are second to none. From the minute you arrive, you are so well looked after with lots of special touches like poolside cold towels and ice tea. The spa is luxurious and our treatments were very good. The staff are very attentive and keen to make sure every care is looked after. It is every bit a luxury hotel with personal care. The food is delicious and the chef came out to speak with us at every meal which is a very nice touch. Every meal felt very special (especially breakfast).

This is the most expensive place we stayed, and we are so glad we did, but it was a steep premium and whilst it certainly is amazing, relative to equally wonderful places, it is priced high. Our room also wasn’t cleaned in the day which was disappointing. The other worrying aspect is that despite us telling them about my husband’s nut allergy they put confectionary containing nuts in our room twice. Finally, our “butler” was new and definitely needed more training and support. He struggled at times. There were also very limited vegetarian options.

Everything, the spa, the yoga, the massage, the staff, the GM, the villa, the extra large pool, food etc we had an amazing stay and we everyone made our stay perfect. Wali was amazing and helpful. we couldn’t have ask for more. You also can use a privat beach at another hotel.

Super breakfast, butler Roshan is perfect and so dedicated. Villa with a super view, garden, pool and all the amenities. Cleaning 3 times a day. Privacy is great. Every moment of our vacation managed very well by a team perfectly coordinated by Umberto, a very engaged General Manager. Overall an exceptional experience!

Everything about this place is amazing! The villas, the spa, the food & gardens, but most importantly the people. The entire staff was very kind and extremely professional. My Ayurveda therapist Sepalika was fantastic. I felt like new after 5 days of treatments with her. I also had the best Elemis facial and pedicure by Jeewanthi, she is great. Both ladies will make sure your body and mind are refreshed. Even getting up early was a pleasure in this hotel. We really enjoyed our morning yoga with Samantha. He knows all about yoga and ayurveda. Last but not least, a big thank you to Roshan who took care of us during our whole stay. This guy is incredible. I truly recommend Haritha Villas & Spa to anyone who needs to relax and rejuvenate. One of the best places I have ever been to.

This is an amazing property filled with art and design that takes your breath away. From the wine glass to the timeless artifacts is so pleasing to the eye. The surrounding is the icing on the cake here, the architect has carefully designed the property allowing the guest to enjoy every bit of the tropical surrounding. Not to mention the personalized butler service from our villa master Kinsley. He has such great personality and provides the upmost care for you.

If “heaven on earth” would be a place, it would be called Haritha Villas. Having stayed in some of the worlds best Hotels and Resorts around the globe, this might have been one of the best. This Hotel is the perfect place if you want to escape from all the daily routine and stress. A small oasis of well-being with breathtaking views of the Sri Lankan Jungle. The Private Pool Villas are extremely beautiful and very private. There is absolutely no way for anyone to have a sneak peek into your accommodation. The Service including our private Villa Host: Tharanga, was the best we have experienced so far. From planning the most spectacular excursions to giving tips and tricks around the Island, there was no wish left to fulfill. All matters are given an open ear and are immediately implemented. Moreover you do not feel like a customer at Haritha but rather like family. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are all served a-la cart and are of highest quality and standards. If you are looking for fine michelin style food, or simple feel good “soulfood” you will definitely be very happy with all the options they provide you with. No request is left unfulfilled! The General Manager Umby is one of the kindest people we have met, making you feel straight at home and understanding your every need. If you feel the need to go to the beach, the Hotel features a complimentary 1min tuktuk ride to a luxurious partner Hotel that they have arrangements with, so that you can enjoy a fabulous beach if you wish. The only negative part of our stay, was that we did not book the property for a longer period of time and having to leave! everything! the setting is incredible, the food exceptional and the staff were attentive. we had a private butler called Wasi who was not only extremely lovely he serviced our every need. for someone who hasn’t been to Sri Lanka he ensured we had a great trip and saw things we didn’t expect to. amazing place.

This hotel is truly unique place in the heart of jungle with all benefits of 5 star hotel. Stuff is extremely kind, friendly and professional. All facilities are equipped with A-level goods, everything is very clean and well maintained. It's only 5 minutes ride from the city and beach however surrounding of this place is so beautiful and connected with nature that you really don't want do leave it. Definitely recommend.

Anything good about our stay was crushed by the theft of $100,000 worth of jewelry from a locked safe in our room.

Theft. Over $100,000 worth of items were stolen from the locked safe in our room, including a $76,000 Rolex & several pieces of gold jewelry. Police investigation is currently underway.

We spent six nights at Haritha Villas at the end of our roundtrip through beautiful Sri Lanka and just loved it! Spacious accomodation with private pool, great food, very friendly and personal service giving you the feeling that everybody really cares to make you feel well, very nice spa-area providing a great variety of treatments….

Everything was Amazing. Starting from the warm Welcome by the Hotel Manager and our Butler to the Amazing Villa & Private Pool we Had. The View was Spectacular. I Highly Recommend it for Honeymooners.

We loved everything about Haritha! The best holiday ever!!! Amazing location and breathtaking views from our private and totally secluded villa. The best part of the experience were people, all staff made us feel like we’re they family. We got very attached to our amazing butler Wasantha, who’s just an amazing person with a warm heart, he was an call for us at all times and made our stay effortless and unforgettable. So grateful for this opportunity and the memories we’ll cherish forever. Will be back there one day, no doubt!

Amazing property! It is one of the best places I have ever stayed at. Elegantly designed for ultimate relaxation.

Hard to fault. The only minor comment is that our villa had a bit of a mould smell in the morning, and I presume this is due to planting on the roof. But this is not enough to deter me from visiting again, in fact we will.
