Very friendly staff at check-in. The room was spacious and comfortable enough, and the breakfast was good. A little noisy from the street but fine for an overnight stay.

I travel a lot and there are some hotels I feel drawn to do repeat visit along next journey and some just are fine with no lasting impression (which, I guess is a positive, since I didn't have any major negatives. But, at same time not drawn to go back.) Bed was comfy and I got some sleep...

Wonderful hotel stay. Room clean and comfortable. The area is not the greatest and I would not feel comfortable walking there at night. Lots of restaurants deliver to the hotel via apps.

Our stay was great the staff were very friendly and professional. Hotel was very clean and tidy. Before we left we checked out the continental breakfast and they go above and beyond for that so many choices and variety of goods. Would highly recommend this hotel if in the area.

The hotel is very clean. The area around the hotel is dirty and full of homeless. No problems with our vehicle because they had security.

The area was super sketchy; I would not have been comfortable having my kids at this location. There were a lot of homeless in the area; I was asked for money several times in the 12 hours I was there. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. When I finally did get to sleep, I was woken up by the train that was 50 yards away and sounded like it was coming through the wall. Very disappointing.

I stay here everytime I am in Bakersfield. It is clean,quiet and room is very nice. The complimentary breakfast is good. Front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Nice pool area (which was important since I had some little ones with me). I didn't realize that the train comes by at 4am and blows its horn. I was basically awake anyway but this is something that others may want to know. Since I left early, their b-fast wasn't fully available but coffee, some yoghurt and bread items were so that was nice. The room had a funny odor - not sure if it was newly painted or???

It took 3 trips to the front desk to get a key that worked in our room door. Finally the maintenance guy let us in. When we got in our room a causal chair was missing so another call to maintenance. When I took a shower the body wash bottle was very difficult to work and shot the fluid out on the wall. The security bar couldn't be used because it was at the end of the tub alongside the toilet. When I checked out in the morning the woman was rude and I had to ask for a receipt. In the past we loved staying at the Holiday Inn Express and always thought it a step above the norm, Not any more.

I enjoyed my stay. Quiet even though the parking lot was quite full. Nice pool even though I did not get to try it. Comfy bed and pillows. My room was nice and clean.

Property itself was nice and generally clean. Only complaint was hot tub needed to be cleaned. Pool on other hand was refreshing especially on the hot nights.

This is my go-to property when staying in Bakersfield. It’s right off highway 99, easy parking and the staff is friendly.
My only issue is they don’t offer any gluten-free options, besides juice and fruit, in the complimentary breakfast.

Convenient location and nice breakfast. Pool was clean, plenty of parking. The room was musty and smelled. Staff provided room number and name to a person asking who was staying so security was an issue. Witnessed people across the street consuming illicit substances.
