Hotel with a little something extra.

All of the hotel has heavy smell of clorine, it come from the pool on the roof. The the service in the restaurant at dinner was terrible, and the food had the standard of a motorway cafeteria 🙈 too bad its this low standard, the location and scenery is amazing

Very nice view vorm the pool overlooking lake lugano, frendly staff. Breakfast should have had more options, but was tastefull and fresh.

The hotel is in a good location with a great view, the room was very comfortable and spacious and the hotel has a restaurant and outdoor pool. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed our stay. We would stay here again.

Decent food at the restaurant, the rest was very mediocre including the service. Two friendly female staff, the rest borderline arrogant and at least not friendly. Do not recommend.

The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. The bus drives in the center of lugano: Perfect!

Nice area but very small room for the price. Nice new bathroom suite but it is very cramped. Average hotel but the breakfast is pretty poor.

Clean and functional hotel with large pool and sunbathing area. Rooms are good, but relatively basic. Restaurant has nice views on the lake.

We have gone to Lugano before and have got this stay and got late at night. We were welcome like returning visitors and felt like in a second home. From the woman at the front desk to the manager or owner, everybody were very nice to us. The view from our windows (4th floor) was overwhelming and our mornings were breathtaking. We didn't have the chance to use the swimming pool, because the weather was cold already in October. Beds, linen and pillows are really comfortable and the bathroom is big. The property is between Bissone and Campione d'Italia, so you are in Switzerland just steps from an Italian square. Also, Bissone is a 15 min drive to one of the most beautiful towns in Switzerland, Morcote.

It was a nice place. If the purpose is to visit the small community of Italy, then this is the perfect place. We really enjoyed this hotel.

foyer couches past acceptable wear. Told new order had not yet arrived- but bad condition had existed for some time and excuse is not a current customer problem. shower floods entire bathroom floor making it dangerous to use any electrical appliance. loud sould in the hotel mechanical system occurs about ever 4 to 6 minutes making it impossible to sleep. I went to desk at 2 am. told by staff they would give us refund. Then told not possible because booked with Expedia. There should be no problem with booking company to act on management wishes. After filling out hotel survey received no contact, apology, or response from Hliday Inn Express. I will take this further through Trip advisor and other means. No further visits to any Holiday Inn Express as we also had unfortunate experience at Amsterdam

We loved this property. It had such beautiful views of Lugano from the pool and restaurant area. The only issue is that there wasn't much walking distance from the hotel.

Fabulous hotel. Great views. About 10 mins from the city by car. So comfortable. Great to get a good family room where we could all stay.

Off the beaten path. Very quiet. Good food. The air conditioner was very loud our first night but fixed for our second.
