Nobody at front desk when I came to check out. 8:15am

I wasn't impressed, but for the cost it's about average. The furniture is pretty battered, the bed nearly flipped when we sat on the end, the remote did not change channels, and it was a little loud due to the hall being recarpeted and a middle of the night visit from the sheriff across the hall. But it was clean and usable and didn't feel unsafe. Note that they take a $50 deposit and it can take up to a week to get it back.

Great hotel for the price. I didn’t care for the smell of the cleaner they use when walking in on the first day but it faded quickly. The bed was decent and the room was clean. Lots of working class people at this place and it was quiet at night. Good location.

Basic hotel. No frills, but nothing really wrong, either. No complaints at all.

The room was clean and good AC. The area around is a bit sketchy. People partied in the parking lot and sometimes got in fights.

I don't live in wausau anymore. I actually enjoyed the peace and most needed sleep from traveling. I enjoyed my stay and will recommend it to other ppl for convenience and price

If you stay longer then five days with a pet you have to check out 24 hours and then come back and change rooms. I was an extensive stay for my job. Such an inconvenience and stressful.

Easy to get to and park. Clean and has everything we needed. Dog friendly. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This is the motel we always use while in Wausau. Cheap and great rooms.

This property worked for us . Room key worked every time . There is two elec. outlets on both sides of bed . GREAT . Very little noise . GREAT .We had a hot tub that worked . Would stay there again .

Pros: it was a room with a comfortable bed and working AC. Bathroom fixtures worked properly. Cons: bathroom was not entirely clean, also a couple hairs in the bed when I arrived. I could never get the TV to work (it turned on but I couldn't get DirecTV to show). The area felt sketchy. No elevator if you need it. Free coffee in the mornings didn't include real milk/cream. Only breakfast available are waffles for $1.25 each. Some of the furnishing were worn. Bottom line: you get what you pay for, and you don't pay for much.

I booked a "luxury room". The room was not very clean. The sheets were stained. There was mildew / mold on the wall near the tub. The area around the building did not feel safe and the hallways smelled of marijuana.

The drug deals in the parking lot were unique. I really did not feel safe and the room smelled so bad of stale smoke that we decided to just drive home to Minnesota instead of stay in the motel. The staff were awesome and patient and underpaid. The property itself needs a remodel.

It was affordable and there was a grocery store right next door.

Bed was worn out can I use a couple more pillows and there was a funky smell in the room when we first entered it but the AC and the exhaust fan cleared it out after a while. The parking lot had a lot of looks like expanded or broken down vehicles looking kind of Warren out on the outside

WiFi sucked. It kept disconnecting so couldn’t use iPad. A/C didn’t work. Wanted to put on fan for a little to cool down room but wouldn’t turn on. Good price so that’s why I stayed here. Was worth what I paid. Bed was fine other than spots on sheets and looked like a spot of makeup. I’d stay again just don’t be too picky.

Sheets were filthy, Had front desk change them and even the replacement sheets had stains. TV selection was excellent. Room was clean. Internet was awesome, No screen on 2nd story window, lol. It's a very aged hotel with dirty hallways and no elevators justy long halls and steps. Prepaid for room and they forced us to pay $50 for security deposit refundable in up to 4 weeks.

There’s a saying, you get what you pay for, the room was comfortable, but lots of noise most of the night, people walking in the halls going in and out of doors. Also heard dogs, barking and howling. Not sure if I would go back there.

The only thing I like about the property was the clerk. She was nice. Everthing looked and smelled nasty. I do not recommend it anyone. It needs to be condemned.
