Super friendly staff. All hours of the day. Check-in was easy. The only thing I’d tweak was the layout of our room. We’re used to the European size of the rooms but we kept banging in to the bed coming from the bathroom. Could be user error too I suppose. :)

I was feeling ill and was able to check in early. It was very kind of them! The staff spoke very good english.

Quite a cheap stay and I can see why. Our room was tired looking and needed renovated. From the images advertised, we expected the room to be a lot nicer. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable and the door to our room led directly onto the stairwell which made it extremely noisy and almost impossible to sleep. We heard every single person climbing up and down the stairs or getting in and out of the elevator. It was okay for a 3 night stay.

I’ll be honest and say I booked here by accident. However, it was a pleasant surprise. The room was incredibly quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable and I slept very well. The receptionists were all friendly and helpful. Location was great - nearby fantastic Edeka supermarket, coffee shops, bakery etc and ten minutes from the shopping centre. I didn’t go to the bar or restaurant in the hotel so cannot make any comments. It was a hotel and not pretending to be a cool, hipster hang out. And for the price - more than worth it.

I booked a room through online ahead of my stay. When my wife and I arrived, we were told they could not find my reservation and they didn’t have any rooms. After 20 minutes of waiting, the receptionist said she had found a room that we could stay in. Once we arrived at the room, I found that there wasn’t enough water pressure to shower. Informed the front desk before heading to dinner, and they assured me it would be fixed. After returning, the front desk verbally confirmed it had been fixed. Unfortunately, I checked again myself and found there was barely enough hot water to wash our hands. I reported this again the next day, and after they called me on the phone and instructed me to “turn the water on hot for 5 minutes” they agreed to give us a new room but not until that afternoon. When we were finally given a new room, we were surprised to find our that it was very different from our first room—properly upgraded with a nice bathroom and furniture as advertised in the photos online. As it turns out, the room we were given the first night (after they lost our reservation) was old and outdated. Due to their mismanagement with the reservation, they had given us a non functioning room and planned to charge us the same amount. Frustrated, I brought up these concerns with the management at the front desk and they brushed it off as a non-issue. I recommend avoiding this hotel.

Kettle etc should be standard in the room especially for the price, as even a basic hotel has one ( especially when there’s a mini bar ,,) Trouble with T.V / Radio

Convenient location to the central station, 15 min walk with my luggage. Very clean room. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was spotless with fluffy towels. Many restaurant choices nearby for dinner. Nice breakfast.

Basically a very good hotel for the price. However, the hotel cannot be recommended to anyone dependent needing internet access. A very slow connection caused considerable problems. If the hotel significantly improves the internet access, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel; nice room for the price, good location, near to restaurants etc. I did not use the breakfast so cannot comment on this.

Air conditioning did not work : they knew it. The room was hotter than the outside temperature. The portable air conditioner didn’t do anything. Personnel not helpful or welcoming. No breakfast available because hotel full ??? Why ???

Was an average hotel. Nothing great. Breakfast was good. Big issue was no hot water and bad smells coming from plumbing. Staff were not very sympathetic to this situation either. I would not return.

The check in was smooth. We arrived early and they were able to hold our luggage while we went to explore. The rooms were clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend.

We asked for a quiet room, and they gave us the loudest rooms on the first floor in front of the elevator. We paid a lot of money, especially we chose a room with a large bed. It's very bad, they put two small single beds side by side, they don't even stand still. They gave this room as if they were kidding. mediocre service. It wasn't worth the money they got. Since there was no place due to the fair, we came across the classic model of ripping people off at high prices.

Not the most luxurious hotel in town, but we were very happy with our stay here. Pluses are the very good location, modern room and cleanliness, and the good price we got. Less impressed with the mattress (two single with several centimetres gap, instead of a double) and the dated and tiny bathroom

A hotel we’ve used many times previously due to its location to the station and 15 minute walk to all the shops/bars and Xmas market in December

The Staffs was very courteous and helpful during my stay in Germany. Everything else was great and the only thing I could suggest is more hot breakfast varieties will be fantastic ( personal preferences ).

Room located on 1st floor to the noisy main street, with trafic, bars/restaurants, is not worthy for any Hotel. Especially not for the Price of 550€/Night!

For a so called 4 Star property, this hotel is not worth the money. Whole hotel is super dark and the DO NOT CLEAN YOUR ROOM DAILY nor provide fresh towels!! So disappointed when we came back to our room late at night and realized they didnt clean the room. Called reception and they confirmed they dont clean the rooms daily!! Ridiculous.

We loved this hotel but it was rather sparce - no kettle in the rooms!

Despite an issue on check-in, the other staff were really friendly and could not have been more helpful. My room was clean and functional. Great breakfast.

There was some issues with the room first night but it was settled.
