The hotel has no more phones. You cannot step outside the hotel. A busy street in a high crime area. Trash, rats, pee corners and heavy traffic.

not far from center but a bit expensive and very small space for parking but safe. buffet management was good during covid.

Garage was terrible, barely any space so worth considering another location. Other than that the service was friendly and value for money as you can expect.

Surprisingly good! Lovely staff, a quiet, clean room, plenty of towels, a good fast shower. Check in was really fine, they found my ibis number really fast and gave me a room on the back away from the road. The bed was comfy and the pillows were amazing!

Asked for a quiet room away from he street and was first given a room away from the street but the room has a low humming noise that I couldn't find the source. No explanation given as to what that was and whether it would go away. I was left without a choice but took the only available smaller room above the busy street.

Man spürte Tag und Nacht eine starke Vibration von einem Gerät/einer Machine im Zimmer und auf allen Stockwerken außer im Erdgeschoss bei der Reception und dem Restaurant. Vermutlich kam die komische Vibration von der Luftungsanlage - ich bin mir aber nicht sicher. Man spürte sie am Boden, wenn man die Wände berührte und sogar liegend im Bett. Sehr unangenehm! Dazu noch der Aufzug, der zwar schell ist, dafür aber sehr laut. Man konnte ihn im Zimmer hören, obwohl unser Zimmer nicht direkt nebenan lag - also lieber ein Zimmer weit weg vom Aufzug buchen. Glücklicherweise hatten wir da nur eine Übernachtung, sonst hätten man es nicht aushalten können. Es war überall sauber. Das Frühstückbuffet war vielfältig und ausreichend. Day and night we felt a strong vibration from a device/a machine in the room and on all floors except ground floor, where the reception desk and the restaurant are located. Probably these strange vibrations came from the ventilation system - but I'm bot sure about this. We felt it on the floor with your feet, if touching the walls and even lying in the bed. Very embarrassing! Additionally the elevator, which is admittedly quick, although very loud. It could be heard in the room despite the fact that our room was not directly next door - therefore better take a room far away from the elevator. Fortunately we styed only one night, otherwise we would not be able to bear it. The hotel was tidy. The breakfast buffet was various and sufficient.

Really helpful staff everywhere in the hotel that are will to assist you with directions or queries with no fuss and are fluent in German and English. Enjoyed or stay and only 10mins from the main square.

Three night stay in a very friendly clean hotel near city centre. Tram system excellent. Lots to see eat and drink .

booked room as three person only had 2 single beds no kids bed or bedding and only two towels.

Good value hotel in an excellent location ,only 800 metres from the town centre and main railway and bus station.15 mins and 15 euros by taxi from the airport [ 2 euros by tram to the main railway and bus station ]......we would recomend the following pub/restaurants.......Standige Vertung in Bottcherstrasse just off the old square.......the Ratskeller in the celler beneath the old town hall......... a Bavarian restaurant 100 metres behind the cathedral..........any of the Beer gardens in the schlatte district by the river .......hourly trains to Hamburg for 30 euros return up to 5 persons can travel on the same ticket.
