Good hotel only THREE big problems:
1. AC in room doesn’t work or something made the while stay uncomfortable and bathroom a sauna (where the vent didn’t work either)
2. Only one small elevator working so made it not fun.
2. Parking not enough, had to park in public parking house.
But breakfast was SO good and with a lot of options and service so nice and good.

Around hotel was a lot shady looking people and you can hear traffic to your room. It sounded like your window were open, even it wasn't.

I'm a frequent traveller and knows what to expect, but the impression from my stay at this hotel is very poor. The hotel is worn out and have seen much better days - Lots of noice from street (I had to request another room as I felt I was sleeping next to a highway) and the walls to the adjacent rooms are paper-thin, so you can literally co-listen to a conversation the person next door has and - even worse - you can hear people snore. Isn't that just great....!
Breakfast is basic and simply not the standard you expect from a German Hotel that market themselves as a 4*** hotel.
Now the worst part is yet to come - the area (Hauptbahnhof) is infested with homeless people, crack addicts and criminal types of persons. I had my car robbed and windows smashed (obviously the hotel cannot be held responsible, but as they had no space in their very small parking cellar, I had no other options than to select a public parking space just nearby)
In summary - I will never ever choose this hotel again and as a courtesy to fellow-travellers I suggest you look for something else when planning your next trip to Bremen.

Great location, lovely room. Very quiet even though hotel was very busy. Across the road from train station, walkable to restaurants and bars. Breakfast was varied and plenty of food available. Staff blessed up quickly and recessed food quickly. Was pleasantly surprised for the price we paid.

Room and hotel clean and in good condition and close to City center. Walking distance to downtown and public transportation. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was excellent with many options, including lactose free products.

Nice hotel, close to the train station. The receptionist was very polite and he helped us with some minor issues that we had.

Perfect location next to the main railway station. Rather easy to get on trams or walk into the old town and nearby sights.

Hotel is in a very good location. Walking distance to all sights. Great breakfast. Room a little dated but comfortable. Smell of cigarette smoke in parts which seemed strange in a non-smoking property.

I got there quite early - 10:30am and I was expecting to not be able to check in then until 3:00pm; however they had a room for me which was great! The ladies at the reception were the kindest and helpful; they made me feel welcomed and took care of my extra needs such as power extension, adaptors... breakfast was nice too.
Location is amazing, 500m walk (6 minutes) to line 6 which goes to the Bremen airport and 5 minute walk to the Bremen train station which you can see across the street from the window.
The only thing I find to be not so great was the internet. Other than that it is 5 start from me for everything.
I would definitely come back for my future trips to Bremen.

Less friendly service with bored and unengaged people in the reception, high volume from outside bars so impossible to sleep. The worst hotel experience ever, though the location is good. Breakfast was ok also and the hotel was clean.

Good location, however room doesn't match with pictures. Double bed is actually a twin and pillows are not comfy.
Also you might be attracted by the swimming pool and spa which are highly put forward and could be considered as part of the service considering the price paid...however it is not. Extra shall be paid to access it. -indicated at the bottom of the page-....there are better deals in town then.

On our last day, we had to leave our rooms before checkout, because the maid had cleaned one room for the next people while we had gone for a post breakfast walk, even though our luggage was still in the room, and for the other room, new refreshments were brought in while we were sat there. We complained to reception staff who first laughed and then tried to come up with reasons for this and then said we did not need to leave the rooms as though it was our wish to do so. Would you expect to go into a hotel room that was still being used by the previous occupants - bathroom, bed, cups and glasses etc? Breakfast was also not as good as it had been on previous visits, good quality food having been replaced with fewer cheaper options. We have stayed at this hotel quite a few times, but we won't be returning. It was a disappointing end to a special 75th and 70th birthday treat for our parents.

Zur Post offered us exactly what we were looking for: an afforable hotel with large clean smoke- & pet-free rooms close to the Centre of Bremen. Informal friendly staff. Good beds, shower and breakfast. We used their parking, but that was very small.
