Great stay. Comfortable beds.

overpriced, faraway from activities, allow third parties to overcharge guests for tours and not much dinning varieties, not friendly lobby bar arrangements

We felt we were in a retreat of sorts every time we were at the hotel. The room was spacious, the trees and bird singing and views of Oaxaca made it so special. The staff was ever so friendly and helpful. The pool area was so peaceful with all the trees. The only two suggestions I have are: 1- Our room, number 706, had a very old air conditioning system. It was dark yellow it was so old. They need to replace that for the air it blows out must be bad. We stay in not so good hotels afterwards that featured all new unites. The one at hotel Victoria was really old. 2- The pool needs a pool side shower. I do not understand how that was lacking. Just a outdoor shower to get rid of the sweat. We would arrive from walking all over town and then going to the pool. One day I was do sweaty I took a quick shower in the room before heading to the pool. However, not all guests do that. I have traveled to 42 countries and have stayed in various hotels, this was the fist one that did not have a pool side shower. Wishing you all well, Antonio Rocha

Service was excellent, especially at the breakfast buffet. Room needed updating and the bathroom the most.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel, however, I highly recommend the owners to add a ATM machine on site, so we do not waste time having to go downtown to get cash.

The room had bed bugs.

We loved our stay in here. The only thing that was a little disappointing is that the rooms didn’t have mini fridge. We buy water bottles but was hard to keep the water cold. Beside that everything was awesome.

Pool was dirty and screen door was broken with sharp edges and chairs inside the room with small nails sticking out my son hurt his back with the nail also the bathroom has a drain hole that open and top comes off showing the dirty water inside. Last but not least Air Conditioning was not cooling at all

Old hotel, very well maintained, no elevator. Good food till late, great swimming pool. With downtown free shuttle transport ( evenings)

The property is ok~ the room had a lovely view of the city. The staff was fairly attentive.

We had an issue with the bathroom and after two days they offered us to move to another room. Staff are really nice but the hotel needs a little renovation I’d say.

Lovely and relaxing oasis in town.

Hotel Victoria is located just outside of Centro district and is perched on a hill, offering amazing views of Oaxaca de Juarez. The staff are lovely. They are friendly, courteous and always available to assist. English is not easily understood by many but that is part of the charm. Sadly, the hotel has fallen into disrepair after so many years. The pool is crumbling and the walkways to it as well. This hotel is not for the mobility challenged. The carpets and curtains in the room are desperately needing replacement. Both the sink and the toilet in our room had cracks that will only get worse. No art on the walls of the hotel rooms just left things looking bleak. If you are not too fussy, it's a great place to stay for a few days as they have a free night shuttle to Centro and that was much appreciated. You get what you pay for, I suppose and the nightly rate somewhat reflects it. The bed was comfy and the linens were very clean and the AC worked. What more can you want!

This was a lovely property in the hills with a beautiful view of Oaxaca. Safe and quiet, and the staff was delightful.

Everything its ok except the restaurant prices little bit high compared to restaurants in oaxaca downtown

Staff very kind, place clean. However the hotel holds parties with loud music that can be heard from anywhere. Once the music was shut off at around 11:30 pm. The second time the loud music and noise was held until 1:30 am. I was pissed due to the lack of consideration from the management to the guests who need to have a quiet and restful night.

I don’t like this hotel

This Hotel has a great pool and green areas very welcoming. The shower handle was broken in our room other than that I love this hotel they provide a shuttle to downtown.

Too much distance between hotel and Simmer of town very close to a busy road, other than that it was a wonderful place to stay, and had a shuttle bus, and only ran in the evenings Tuesday until Saturday, I did not run on Sunday and I think it only ran Monday morning

Beautiful property, easy parking, great entertainment and great pool area.

Have stayed at this property several times. I enjoy the grounds and the space as well as the restaurant and bar area. The beds are comfortable but the rooms could use some maintenance. On Friday late afternoon/evening the bar was taken over by a loud, private group. The noise and music continued until midnight which was annoying.
