Amazing view from my panoramic room. Nice balcony. Good room size. Bathroom a bit small but fine. Free mini bar and a bottle of wine in the room a nice touch. Good restaurant. Convenient for main sights in Montreux. Really enjoyed my stay.

We had very good experience in the hotel with a perfect view i recommend every one who’s visiting montruex to stay in Mona hotel.

This hotel seemed well-managed and had a lot of amenities onsite. The rooms were clean and ours had an excellent view of the city and Lake Geneva. The location was great as it was about two blocks from the train station and a close walks to restaurants. The staff were very helpful, and we were very happy with our choice.

While the hotel itself is an eyesore to the city, the view it offers is gorgeous. The Cosy Mona room at the east corner offers a balcony with a full view of almost the entire city, the lake and the mountains. Complimentary drinks, coffee, popcorn. All decorations in the hotel are carefully designed to be cheerful and at times makes you smile. Access from train station is quite close. There is escalator up the stairs in front of the station, but not down. Consider a detour along Rue de la Gare to avoid walking your luggage down 200 steps.

Triple room, but the third bed was a rather uncomfortable armchair bed, with a thin and uncomfortable mattress.

I stayed four nights at this hotel in a Cosy Mona room. I had booked a Mini Mona and they offered to upgrade me for 20 CHF/night. It was well worth it. The Cosy Mona was a nice sized room with a minbar and balcony with A/C. The bathroom smelled a little musty (but it went away) and the toilet area was super small, but other than that the room was perfect. The location of the hotel is perfect, close to the train station with a view of the lake. Right by the train station they have stairs and ecalators up, but if you walk to the right after you exit the train station, you find a little street that you can wheel you bag down (instead of carrying it down the stairs). The hotel has a way to get you bags in through an elevator, but I didn't figure that out. I carried them up and down the main lobby steps. The elevators are a little quirky, but the nice staff and hotel amenities make up for it. The hotel minibar is complimentary and refreshed every day which was a nice surprise. Also, they offer complimentary coffee machine in the lobby and offer little snacks (like popcorn and candy). The hotel view is beautiful, and you can sit on the tables in the breakfast area at non-breakfast times, and enjoy the view of the lake. The sundeck was also nice with chairs, refreshments, and a jucuzzi. My balcony had a beautiful view, but when I sat down, the railing was in the way and the chairs were a little wobbly. I prefered the view outside the breakfast area. I would stay here again.

Our stay was in a Cozy Mona class, it was plenty big with good views to the west.

We love the hotel

Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Rooms were clean and well appointed. We had the Panoramic Room, which lived up to it's name ... gorgeous views of the lake. A barstool height table and chairs would work better on the balcony, though. The only thing lacking is a pool. That would make this hotel absolutely perfect.

Our 1st room(room 71) bathroom smells but the staff transferred us to a different room the following day and was better.

Great experience! The staff was nice. The room was clean and a good size for 3 people. The breakfast was really good. The location is fantastic! Walkable from the train station and along the lake Leman. You step outside of the hotel and you are on the promenade. Only downside is the bathroom: to get into the shower is tricky and not for everyone. It is not roomy and felt slippery. They need to put real hairdryers!!! These tiny ones with a short cord do not work for anyone who has to do brushing. This is a minor point and does not affect everyone. I would recommend this hotel.

Really enjoyed the amenities in the lobby, and the view of the lake! Also, the complimentary coffee, popcorn, and candy. The sundeck with free drinks was great as well as the free mini bar!

Fantastic location right on Lake Geneva and leas than 5 minutes to train station. Maintenance issue with shower but was remedied. Clean and comfortable. Lobby coddee, popcorn and candy a treat!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mona. We stayed in 6 different hotels on our European vacation and this was my favorite. The room was spacious, it had a refrigerator that was actually cold, the view was beautiful and the air conditioning worked well. I also enjoyed the free things they offered such as drinks in the minibar, juice, coffee and tea on the sundeck and popcorn and candy each afternoon in the lobby. Would definitely stay here again.
