The bed felt like I was sleeping on plywood. I was there for work and had to be up very early both mornings. I was located on the 2nd floor and could hear thumping (bass) until at least midnight and the person next to me snoring like he was literally in my room. The staff or at least the young lady that checked me in was great!! Very friendly and helpful. If your are there for a good time, recommend. If for something else would not recommend.

Bed was comfortable but pull out couch was terrible. We had to ask for linens for couch as well as towels as none were left in our room. The staff was quick to bring to our room. The heat and AC is quite outdated . Fortunately it was mild for June in TN; the hotel was having significant water issues/ leak. Our floor/ carpet was soaking wet. Several other people checking out reported same issue

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Easy drive to ETSU. Location is great!! Right off 26! Even though our room faced I-26, we never heard a sound!! Will definitely return!!

Checkin was very easy. However I did ask if a handicap room was available..only in the King room but we needed 2 beds. Ok, I can generally work with that. The beds were very comfortable, room size okay, the hotel was quiet.. no slamming doors as in many places. The bathroom was a real problem. Vanity was low, the toilet was very low, toilet paper holder hard to reach for and the side of the bathtub was extremely high. It reached to the bottom of my kneecap. For anyone with leg or knee problems that can be very dangerous. Have never understood when hotel update the rooms that the bathroom is the most neglected. Why not put the comfort seat toilets in all bathrooms. With people being tall and large the standard toilets are very difficult to get off of. My opinion. Other than stated above the stay was fine.

Pleasant hotel, quiet area, staff were friendly and helpful. I use this hotel every time I visit a family member in JC and it’s comfortable and comfortable and convenient.

Manager and staff are awesome.

Everything was good. Not enough towels and cloths left but that is only complaint. Staff upon check out was very friendly (even check in). I can't think of any complaints.

Staff was courteous and friendly. Piper is always welcoming and knowledgeable and makes the check in and check out process fast. Room was comfortable and clean.

Left an item. Waiting on reply after having to call twice. More interested in booking another stay than talking to someone at hotel

We arrived at 4am after a long drive. The staff, I wish I could remember the man's name, checked us in quick and got us our keys and offered a late check out to let us sleep. He was very accomodating.

Very helpful staff and excellent breakfast

The room was $300. 00 a night! A lot of money for this librarian to go to storytelling!! A lot money stayed there many times but way too high !

Staff was always helpful and courteous. The rooms were clean but needed to be updated and painted. The biggest negative was the breakfast buffet. It was a 1 at best- minimal selection, no coffee except in the lobby and over priced!!

The staff was phenomenal. The restaurant/bar and front desk.

The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool.

I had to leave after one night, desk said they couldn’t do a receipt because it was booked at Hotels.com so I paid two nights?

The staff was very friendly. The front desk manager called because I was booked in a room type that they do not have. She was able to get us in a room that was a better fit for us than the one we booked! My husband uses a wheelchair, and he said that the accessible bathroom counter and mirror were the perfect height, which is not always the case, even with the accessible rooms.

The room was clean. The lobby and other facilities were clean. The staff was fairly friendly. My big problem is that I prepaid through Expedia -- and then the check-in clerk acknowledged this -- but then the hotel put a "hold" on my debit card and ended up charging me full price for the room, after the hotel records should have noted the room was prepaid for. This would have been a bigger problem if my checking account became overdrawn, but fortunately it did not. Now I am trying to get a refund through the hotel via IHG customer service, offshore with poor connections, and have been promised the hotel will contact me within 48 hours. I also disputed the charge through my bank. Moving to other matters, while the $5 surcharge for the breakfast bar was reasonable, it was not the "full service" breakfast the restaurant hostess claimed. Full service means fresh coffee is brought to the table and the table is cleaned. This was not the case. I have stayed at many, many hotels and I know what "full service" is. It does not mean having to walk across to the lobby to get stale coffee myself. The self-service breakfast bar selection, on the other hand, was adequate. I feel that IHG has cut this hotel's staff and amenities to the bone. The staff, while friendly, were a little clueless about what hotel hospitality means. The rooms don't even have USB ports for charging phones and iPads. I had to go to the two public-use computers in the lobby to find a charging port. C'mon, it's 2023!
