We liked the ocean view so much! The building is a bit old but overall clean and tidy, free on-site parking makes it handy. The availability of dish washer and dryer means a lot of time saved on daily cooking and laundry. We are a family of four and we all enjoyed staying in this property.

Fantastic location with beach just across the road and easy walking distance to main strip Room was a great setup, nice and spacious, beautiful ocean views. Older building and room but still had everything we needed.

We love staying here as the amenities are great and the views are amazing. Its so close to everything and the staff at reception are very friendly.

It was really amazing . Looking forward to make it happen again.

This Breakfree accommodation was in the most perfect spot, so close to everything including the beach. It was perfect for our family getaway

We found it a great location, room was perfect for us and we would stay here again. Loved the sounds of the surf as an added bonus.

Great location great views. Walking distance from everything. But bit of a scare when u see supports everywhere in basement and you are staying on 24th floor. But stay was great. Air conditioning in bedroom would be sensational. But overall. Value for money paid 👍👍👍👍

The apartment was very well positioned for everything, the view was fantastic and the building was a very quiet and comfortable place to be.

Nice unit, great location, view, staff very helpful. One of our group arrived at night and I have to say the signage for the property id not very visable. My cousin drove around for 30 mins trying to find it. Her sat nav took her to Burleigh??. Very bizarre, but maybe a more visable, well lit sign where you turn in would be helpful. I had no trouble finding it but older,or less technical people may struggle.

Perfectly located and right in the beach. Room was spacious enough for two adult and three kids, kitchen was just right, showers were hot and the check in/out process was simple. Reception staff were always helpful and approachable and made you feel right at home. Construction next door didn’t really hinder our stay and there was some road noise from below but that’s to be expected when only 10 floors up, in an original era, Gold Coast resort. It was all a part of the stay! More importantly, the price was great to accomodate us all for a perfect 3 night stay.

Lovely accomodation with great facilities and beautiful views of the ocean. Excellent location close to everything with an easy short stroll to Cavill Avenue. Staff at the front desk were lovely and friendly

Enjoyed our stay overlooking the ocean. Our third visit. Short walk from the heart of Surfers. Sauna was good, ie could get hot enough. (wife is Finnish!) Would stay again.

Room was very outdated but other thank that no complaints. View was spectacular.

Enjoyed our time but apart from our bathrooms and kitchen the rooms need a serious revamp.

Views are to die for and it’s close everything would highly recommend to anyone 10/10 couldn’t ask for a better stay!!! Will be booking again with these guys 😊

The apartment was amazing, felt like home. Right across the road to the beach, and close to everything. Downside was that next door was a high-rise construction site that wasn't mentioned on their page. Also, too much chemicals in the spa that took a lot of colour out of our bathers.

This is the 2nd year in a row that we have stayed at imperial surf. Booked both times in ocean view deluxe rooms. But this year got an upgrade to sub penthouse.. Wow!! We love it. The apartments are clean and modern. The views are amazing.. right on the beach. Staff are friendly and helpful especially Diane at reception. Conveniently located to shops restaurants and public transport. We are already planning our next trip for same time next year and will definitely be staying at imperial for a third time. Highly recommend!

The bathrooms were modern and the beds were comfortable. The indoor pool and spa were great. The outside pool was heated, which was great but it is right next door to a big construction project so we found it not as pleasant out there than we would have liked (noise wise and view). Loved the stunning view from the patio but again, it was a bit noisy, due to the next door construction and some other roadworks going on opposite the hotel. Other than the noise we had a very lovely stay. These negatives comments are not the fault of the Owners & Managers of the Hotel. They cant help someone choosing to build a huge building next door to them!!

Break free Imperial Surf was located in a great place. Close to everything but not right in the middle of the crowds.

General facilities are well maintained but rooms are not. They are dirty and in desperate need of maintenance.

The location was great, patrolled beach across the road and easy walk to Cavil Mall. The view from our room was amazing and kids enjoyed the pool. Our room was very dated and had a few maintenance issues.

Our stay was great! Our accomodations were what we anticipated and our favourite front desk gal was eager to help us at every request. She even had me sign up for the hotels loyalty program, Mantra.

The apartment location was superb but the service is not like a hotel where we often stayin nevertheless we had a great time in gold coast.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! We stayed here after I had hand surgery following a serious motor vehicle accident. We own a very tall car and after discussion decided that it would not fit under the beam of the car park. After discussing this with reception we arranged to park our car in the visitors car park. As well as being legally blind (I have a white cane) I had my arm in a sling. As I have a disability parking permit we parked in the allocated car space. (Which to our horror was labelled INVALID parking! HAHA)To get into our car I need to use a stool and therefore need a wider than average car space to accomodate my injury. We told reception where we had parked to which she rudely said “this space is for people with a disability, you will need to move your car as other people may want to park there”. Normally I would never use a disabling car space if there was only one however I think we were more than in need. She was EXTREMELY rude and wouldn’t listen to our explanation. We stayed in unit 20C. The unit was quite dirty, the toilets had quite a strong odour of urine and the furniture was falling apart! On top of this, the hotel changes TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS HOLDING DEPOSIT. It took 5 days to get it back. We have travelled extensively both overseas and within Australia and we were horrified with this accomodation. We were informed one morning by a tenant that there had been an evacuation order of the whole building that we knew nothing about.
