Excellent apartment - main bedroom and living area each had excellent A/C units. Upstairs bedroom A/C unit leaked water on the floor and could not use, Only other hiccup was the hot water supply which was plentiful when turned on from adjacent apartment unit. Was not on when we checked in and could not shower until 2 pm the next day. Then was turned off again the night before check out but got it turned on early next morning so we could shower before check out. Otherwise, an excellent bed and accommodations in the heart of the historic district.

This stay was very disappointing. I have stayed at the Phi Hotel before and its location for central Bologna is excellent. This stay I booked late, it was non refundable and very expensive - for a mediocre room. It was cold and heating could not be controlled in room - took a long time to warm up
and had to contact front desk to adjust. The very large bathroom window had no blind or shutters and you could see inside from hallway approach - very exposed. Towel heater not working, came to fix then went away and didn’t return for an hour necessitating my waiting. And then it only worked for 30 minutes again having to ask front desk to switch on.
It’s a 4 star hotel which should actually be 3 star with 5 star prices.

A couple of glitches...no hot water until about 2:30 next day. A/C unit in extra bedroom condensated water all over the floor. Otherwise very nice & comfortable apartment close to everything.

Very charming hotel with perfect location. Warm and very helpful staff. Best breakfast spread I have ever seen. Every aspect seems impeccable and perfect. Rates are so reasonable. I would return and recommend to all.

The stay is good. Location is great and easily accessible to the tourist attractions. Only thing for future travellers to take note is the driving to the hotel is horrendous. There was a road closure for a particular road and we are not able to drive to the hotel. It took us nearly two hours to get there and we finally gave up. The hotel should have given us a better instruction on how we can make a detour to avoid the road closure. In the end , we parked our vehicle around 800 meters away and carry our luggage all the way to the hotel.

Location of the Phi Hotel Bologna is very good, near everything but on the quiet street. Breakfast and service are excellent. Basic rooms but beaware that compact room is only for one person. Even classic room is quite small.

We had a wonderful stay at the annex apartment, just a few steps from the hotel. We were welcomed with a complimentary cocktail at check in. The location is excellent! We could walk to all of the popular sites and restaurants. The apartment had lots of space and was extremely clean and well appointed. We felt pampered with everything we needed.

Extremely convenient for the city centre in a lovely location, staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant did not always open on time for breakfast, possibly due to an insufficient number of staff for that meal so they were very busy but did all they could in that context. Very clean in every respect and housekeeping excellent.

AMAZING location in the very center of Bologna. Great staff, helped with parking nearby. The room was small but had cool individualized art. very much recommended for a short stay. Lon live the PHI!

We really liked staying at Phi Hotel. Our apartment was really nice and clean, with small kitchen and living room, very spacious, they provided everything we needed in our stay. The staff is very attentive and helpful, and gave us a lot of useful advice on places to visit. They also offer a really good breakfast buffet for a good price, we highly recommend it.

Good hotel with great location. Very nice staff and a good breakfast. Everything is nice and tidy, but the interior might come off as a bit dated. Still a great experience. The killer AC alone is worth the price.

The rooms were very comfortable but not so sure about the decor and one of the rooms was quite dark. However, the location was fabulous and the staff were friendly and helpful - especially getting out of the garage!!
