Aaron was extremely pleasant and friendly at check in. There was another clerk working with him (I forgot his name) but he was also very courteous, addressed me as soon as I walked in, welcoming me to the hotel. Both gentlemen were informative about amenities and times of available services, knowledgeable of the area and layout of property and made themselves available if we needed anything.
The bed was quite comfortable, room was clean, all appliances in good working order and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic!!!
If we travel this away again in the future, this will certainly be our place of choice to stay!

MOST COMFY BED! Great all around EXCEPT for the HIDDEN $75 CHARGE!! Nowhere in booking did it mention a pet fee! Even at check in the clerk surprised me with a $50 DEPOSIT for my 6 yr old dog, but PROMISED it would be promptly refunded after cleaning of the room and proof of no damage. At check out this morning the clerk informed me that I owe $25. I asked her what for, and she said there is a $75 fee for pets to sleep in the motel.
I sure would have APPRECIATED this info at the time of booking because I would NOT have stayed here! There are so many motels that do not charge a pet fee, so I guess that is the reason they surprise you with it once you’ve already paid at booking time.
I am still expecting a full $75 pet fee refund once I speak to the manager of this Cottondale location.

After 10 hours of driving, I arrived to find that they cancelled my reservation!! Because it was college move-in weekend, most other hotels were booked and theirs was completely full. They did nothing to help me find another reservation elsewhere and Expedia DID NOT REFUND MY MONEY THAT I PREPAID!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!

This was by far one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The room was exactly the way it is advertised. It was very accommodating for my disabled parent. My favorite part was having the Harley Davidson store as my view. I enjoyed being able to walk over and shop. The continental breakfast was also on point. The next time I visit Tuscaloosa, this will be my hotel of choice.

When we got to our room part of the plaster off of the ceiling in bathroom had fallen all in bathroom and manager came right up and cleaned everything up. He was very nice-offered us another room but it was late and we just wanted to sleep
