We had a room facing the courtyard, it gets really stuffy and when opening the window you get the smells from the restaurant down stairs, it’s also quite dark, very little daylight.

Had a wonderful interesting room overlooking the square. It was very lively as one could expect from a port city and easily walkable everywhere. Visited a fabulous lunch spot around the corner called Vert…very memorable and delicious! Enjoyed all the Christmas light as well. The museums are great too. Only downside is far too much ugly graffiti that makes neighborhoods look dirty and sad.

When making a reservation for the suite, the hotel will send you to another location (several blocks away from the waterfront) and the location that is confirmed on the receipt. When we questioned them about this, we were told we could stay at the hotel location at an additional cost. This is very misleading. Management confirmed that we still have the services offered by the hotel- however the room was not serviced and the TV was not working and it was too far to walk back to reception late at night to arrange for the TV to be fixed. No phone in the suite. The suite was very nice however, better off booking a private apartment at half the cost. Hotel staff made no effort to remedy.

The breakfast was very good and staff very amicable.
Please ask your staff not to recommend the restaurant Miramar; it was so expensive and the food was terrible. We went to other restaurants half price and the food was delicious and great service.

We stayed at this hotel during our first visit to Marseille and had a lovely experience. The location is excellent, with many attractions within walking distance and easy access to public transportation. The room was clean, charming, and had a boutique-style feel, which we really enjoyed. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. Although there was no fridge in the room, they were happy to store some of our items in their fridge for us.
The only small drawbacks were that they only provided a 2-in-1 shampoo and shower gel, and lotion was only available upon request. However, these were minor issues, and overall, we were very happy with our stay!

The property location is ideal if you wanted to be in the midst of Marseille’s Vieux Port. With that you should be aware that the area is noisy. The hotel is comfortable and staff is very nice and friendly. The bed is comfortable but furniture is dated. We noticed sewage smell in stairs and seemed slightly noticeable in room. The old style windows cannot be left open or halfway. Breakfast if purchased is simple and you walk into a tiny kitchen while staff is cooking. It’s a throwback to older nostalgic times but maybe a bit lower value.

We stayed at this property two times overnight in Marseille at the start and end of our holiday. The hotel is fine but annoyingly both times our room wasn’t ready at the 3pm check in time.

I love this place, they have a hotel as well as an apartment depending on the number of people in your party. We stayed at the apartment, super modern and just perfect. They are near each other and located in the safest part of Marseille with hundreds of shops and restaurants all around.

5 stars for clean bathroom, comfortable bed, and exemplary housekeeping. The shower was wiped bone dry every single time the room got cleaned. Not all hotels do that. The air conditioner worked great. This hotel was a great refuge when we went sightseeing in a hot day. We took a break in the hotel twice a day when we were there. The metro station was just in front of the hotel. Lots of restaurants surrounding the hotel. Free water was a plus.
Keep in mind however the room was small but we knew this beforehand. We only had 2 EDC backpacks so the room size was not an issue. If you’re the kind of traveler who likes to carry your life possessions in a large suitcase, well you might want to reserve a bigger room.

A beautiful hotel in the Old Port, not easy to park if you are driving, but once you are there the place is like an oasis and we got a room with fantastic view and well appointed bathrooms, tea kettle and Nespresso machine. Very green in all aspects. The breakfast was spectacular!

This hotel could not be better! Right on the water in the port, it’s beautiful, comfortable and the service, so fun and friendly! We stayed in one of the flats, tucked back in a chic, shopping friendly neighborhood with great restaurants, and it was also so beautiful. It has everything you need- full kitchen, living room, the balcony is a great escape, and nice place to have morning coffee or evening wine. Book the boat to Calanques early as it typically sells out; and go have champagne at the outdoor rooftop at MuCEM - the views are amazing!

We had the most enjoyable 5 night stay at Maisons du Monde. The hotel is perfectly located in the Vieux-Port. Very comfortable beds and our room was kept spotlessly clean every day.
Reception staff were amazing - so friendly & helpful. I would recommend this hotel without question.

The apartment we stayed in is beautiful & spacious, it has a kitchen and laundry facilities, tv so we feel at home. However, the air conditioning was not the best, so it was often not as comfortable as we wished, considering how warm it has been in Marseille. The check-in process was good, but the staff member forgot to return our passport to us. We are very close to the city metro station. The actual unit is not in the same building as the check-in building. Definitely walkable & transportation is relatively easy where we stayed.
