We’ve stayed at the Beaumont a number of times in various rooms every room has always been clean and comfortable and we will be returning to stay again

We thought the hotel was beautiful and had clearly been recently decorated. Our room was lovely (30) but the mattress on the bed needs replacing as it was rather saggy in parts. We enjoyed our meal in the evening. The staff were a credit to the hotel.

We had a great time

The staff gave us all help and consideration last week. Especially Maria and Magda who sorted out my husband's difficulty with the new mattress (too hard for his back problems). Everyone was always polite and gave us the feeling that nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant service was also impeccable and the food excellent. Unfortunately we had to cut our visit short due to finding some particularly deep potholes in Beamish which exacerbated my husband's problem. I cannot recommend the Beaumont highly enough.

Excellent service and food, loved visiting the Abbey, parks, quaint shops and tea shops. 30 minutes to Newcastle by train. Will visit again.

Lovely hotel.

We arrived early but the room was available and we checked in early, the staff checked if a space was available for our car which there was, the Car Park is compact 7 vehicles only but alternatives are available. The room was excellent spacious with a comfy bed and quality bedding, Great bathroom with everything we needed. "Great stay" would defo come back.

Perfection from start to finish! The hospitality, decor and food were on point and very inviting. Location is walkable to all with a charming village and a park across the steer. I hope to return in the future!

Located in centre of Hexham in walking distance of all local attraction and shops. Parking spaces restricted but we were lucky . Parking on street for two hours only from 9am to 5pm

Lovely hotel in the heart of Hexham just across from the Abbey. Great rooms, restaurant and the bar has street side seating for when the sun shines.

Fantastic Hotel ,will return for a few days hol,next time all staff were excellent ,breakfast was delicious ,location perfect as a base for the area

This was the most wonderful hotel we stayed in on our whole trip! The room was spacious and comfortable, the shower was a dream, the staff couldn’t have been any more helpful and kind. We had a lovely patio outside our room which gave us a rooftop view of the city. It was all so lovely! We highly recommend staying here and will stay here again if ever anywhere near Hexham!

Good location in a lovely town

Fabulous hotel and amazing staff. Made to feel very welcome. Only stayed one night as in town for a wedding but will definitely return to explore area further.

We need more hotels like this. A well known and lovely old property in the centre of town that has been modernised to a very high standard. Our room (32) was on the top floor so quieter than a lower floor and had a lovely view over the Sele park. The bed was super comfy and the room was clean, spacious with tasteful and quirky decor. We ate dinner on a wonderful summer’s evening with the french windows opened into the restaurant giving a very continental feel and the meal was excellent. Great value for our room but we thought that breakfast was overpriced at £17.50 each. It is worth strolling around the town to see some beautiful and historic architecture and it is also a great base for exploring the villages and countryside of Northumberland, Cumberland and the Durham Dales plus Hadrian's Wall of course. Hexham has had a revival in recent years And now has plenty of things happening and local shops, cafes and restaurants all within easy walking distance of the Beaumont Hotel. What made the hotel extra special though was the service and staff -we received a great Northumbrian welcome that was friendly and efficient without being pretentious.

Good, large room, but view over fire escape etc. Evening food was good. Didn't try breakafast but buffet looked OK. Parking is free on road but can be problematic to find space. Small car park with chargers at back. Conevnient for Abbey.

A good place to explore the local area from. We just stayed one night. The room was well decorated and comfortable, but there were a few small issues with the bathroom. In particular the bin mechanism was broken so the bin just tipped over instead of opening the lid, and a couple of the soap dispenser pumps were stuck. That said, the toiletries were really nice.

We had a lovely stay here. The room was spacious and really comfortable, nice decor. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in a good location near the Abbey and town centre. Would recommend it.

Beautiful hotel right in the centre of Town. Stayed previously and will be visiting again soon.

Lovely hotel and friendly helpful staff, John organised our taxi for us. We had dinner in the hotel the food and choice was excellent

The hotel and staff are superb,this is the 5th time we’ve stayed and excellent every time.

Beautiful spacious room touch of luxury with decor soaps and shampoo, Bed very comfortable. We were served drink from a lovely young lad who was very attentive. Evening meal was delicious but maybe slightly overpriced. Didn’t have breakfast. Enjoyed our stay.

Very beautifully decorated rooms. Front desk clerk went out of her way to find an extension cord for me. It was very much appreciated.

Fabulous little hotel in the centre of the town. Staying 2 nights for work and it’s so tastefully decorated, very quiet and clean. Staying in a superior room which I booked for only one night then had to book a second night and accidentally booked a standard room but they are leaving me in the superior for both nights for the same price.

Return stay ( same room as it happens) and everything good except wifi which is not effective in room 28
