Pleasantly surprised. Building is older but lots of upgrades have been done. Clean. Super friendly staff. Only issue was hair dryer didn't work and we did have some ants in the kitchen. Overall, would stay again. Convenient location and lots of parking and had enjoyed the oceanfront balcony.

This property is old. There weee not enough parking spaces so we had to park on the street, between hotels.
The room
was remodeled with LVP flooring and updated bathroom.
The sliding door for the balcony was old and very difficult to slide open and closed.
All in all, it was not bad and I would stay there again.

I loved the location of my room in proximity to the beach and boardwalk. The staff was good especially the check in team. Those ladies were awesome.
I didn't like that there was not a gym, indoor pool or complementary breakfast.

Hotel is a basic no frills hotel. We stayed in an ocean front room which was updated. Loved that there was no carpet in the room but the floor was filthy. I don’t think housekeeping has ever mopped them. The rest of the hotel is old and could use a make over. The restaurant on site could be better. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location but don’t think I will be staying there again.

I was very pleased with this hotel. I especially liked the two outdoor pools and small splash pad. We had an oceanfront room and the view was amazing. The location on the boardwalk was also great. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I read reviews about the parking being problematic but we never had any difficulty finding a spot close to our room. The room was a little small but that didnt bother us. The onsite restaurant with poolside service was also wonderful. The restaurant’s service was not very good one day and the menu pricing was misleading. I definitely plan to return to this hotel again. Overall the rates were reasonable and our experience was very good.

The rooms were big we had 2 beds and both were very comfortable! We had side view to the ocean and it was beautiful. Everything was great staff was very nice and even offered to change towels and sheets without me having to ask! I really do recommend this hotel 10/10 for me the pool was clean I really enjoyed staying here and will be staying here next time I come I don’t have any complaints about this hotel so if you’re looking for one please book this one guys I highly recommend and it’s just the right price

The rooms have taken a little beating being so close to the water. So there was a little rusting in the room. It was oceanfront and the sunrise was beautiful. It is an older hotel so the rooms could do with updating.

The location was perfect with beach access conveniently outside the property. The 3-bedroom unit we stayed in was roomy and had everything we needed. The staff was helpful and friendly. My only complaint is there was a window until in the living area which didn’t quite make it into 2 of the rooms so they were a little warm but the fan helped.

Wish the pools were heated , good places nearby, golf , candy, eats . We had a suite, wish the bedroom had AC too, gets warm. Internet signal was a little weak. Anchor restaurant has friendly staff and good food. Good place for the dog . 22nd Street walk down to the end of boardwalk and back in totally worth the steps

We were pleasantly surprised by the room size, cleanliness, location right on the boardwalk, easy parking, and the staff/housekeeping- every time I walked outside, staff was cleaning something! When I requested housekeeping while we were out with our dog, staff cleaned our room within an hour. We have been visiting OC for over 20 years, and this hotel by far has been our best lodging!

Not all parts of the hotel had elevator access. This was not on the Expedia booking info when we originally booked here. The hotel was extremely accommodating when i calked them to explain our party had an elderly person with heart issues with us.

Check in was very easy. It was mostly done online, and we went to the desk just for our room key. At first, we were given a room on the first floor facing an alley. The room had almost no view and an unpleasant smell that I couldn’t get used to. I returned to the front desk and asked for a room switch. They couldn’t accommodate me that night, but promised a switch the next day. Although they couldn’t tell me an exact time, they sent me a text at 8:30 am telling me the new room was already available. It was great- clean, and had an amazing 180 degree view of the ocean. The staff was very responsive via text.
The pros: nice pools/pool areas, good location, ample parking, friendly staff.
The con: spotty WiFi.
