Our room which had access to the porch was great. Comfortable bed. Our shower rod and curtain collapsed while in the shower, but since we were leaving the next day it wasn’t a problem. It would have been better to have night stands with drawers next to the bed on both sides, one side was a refrigerator. Some WD40 on the wardrobe doors would be great. The squeakyness was bad. It didn’t add to the charm LOL. But overall it was a great mini vacay.

We’ve always wanted to visit Savannah and stay at the Marshall House. It did not disappoint! So much history and the staff is amazing. My husband had a medical emergency and they were so very kind and helpful.

Very fun historic hotel in a super location. We stayed 3 nights and never needed to get in a car. The hotel is within walking distance of so much. The staff is excellent.

We arrived early and our room was not ready. They held our luggage, gave us directions to sight seeing, and advised us they would call when room was ready. They called when the room was ready, we easily checked in, and our room was nice and roomy for 2 friends vacationing together. They had a nice wine & cheese social with a local historian, which was great. Location is great for sight seeing, restaurants, shopping. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We had an amazing stay at the Marshall house. I used to live in Savannah and always wanted to stay here!
The staff is fantastic. Shout out to the breakfast staff and Perrin at wine hour. These ladies are very accommodating and friendly.
Note that this is a historic building and it creaks and makes noise, no ghost experience though!
I had called before arrival to purchase Marshall house wine glasses and they had them wrapped beautifully and put on our bed after we arrived.
We went to wine night twice and the entertainment was great both times.
We agreed that we would stay here on our next trip to Savannah!

The location is fantastic. The history of the hotel is so fascinating and a bit spooky. The evening wine and cheese reception was lovely, especially the night the historian spoke.

We were very happy with our stay. The location is ideal to shopping and just a short walk to the river walk, and to the south, endless wandering through neighborhoods and history.

We could not have asked for a better get away this past weekend. The staff were extremely helpful and nice. We stayed in the famously spooky room 414, and had no ghosts or anything like that but loved the room. We will definitely stay again soon!

It was kind of dirty and the shower was too small and nowhere to put your shampoo bottles. Staff was great.

Lovely historic hotel the middle of the historic district. It as a charming feelin of better days gone by. The evening entertainment with wine gatherings were most enjoyable. The front desk was always helpful, valet and bell service were excellent. We look forward to our next visit!

The room was very noisy: loud food steps due to creaky floors; doors squeak in hall with other guest room kept me awake; window treatments allow in too much light.

This is a very old building which has not been upgraded in many generations. It never was high quality with plank bedroom flooring and very old tiled bathroom, and antique furnishing. They did their best to make the stay appear to be antebellum and upscale but it never made it. There is no parking except expensive public garage one block away with offerred parking service for $40.00.

Great one night getaway. Everyone was nice and helpful. Breakfast was awesome. Loved the antique charm, and so glad they didn’t modernize the rooms.

Loved our first stay at Marshall House. The staff was exceptional and go out of their way to help. Such a nice touch to be offered a glass of wine after a 10 hour drive. Unexpected!!! And very much appreciated. Will definitely be back

Wonderful stay and great breakfast at The Marshall House! Close to shopping, historic spots, sweets and dining. Staff are very friendly and we enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is beautiful and historic which we enjoyed. The wine and cheese reception included entertainment each evening which was a bonus!

The staff was outstanding, especially the wonderful front desk man on nightshift, so courteous & professional. They kept the historic integrity of the building, so you must keep that in mind when staying there. As you it is not shiny and perfect, has imperfect floors and oddly shaped rooms, this was my favorite part of the hotel.

Property was very good. Savannah needs to increase police presence and not just speeding cars but police on foot or bicycle. Too many homeless and vagrants in and around the parks.

The hotel was absolutely stunning. If you love history, this place is for you! The only downside was that the beds were not very comfortable.

Anniversary trip just for an evening. Hotel is wonderful, we stayed in a suite and it was magical. The breakfast was also very good vs even the nicer more expensive historic inns we have stayed at in historic Savannah. The only negative is the homeless have really become an issue on Broughton. They never were around the hotel but they have made a nice area of Savannah less enjoyable to walk through. They have become more in number and activity. The hotel is a wonderful place and location.
