By far my favorite accommodations on our two week trip. A truly beautiful setting and wonderful rooms, we had a restful and peaceful time. The dinner we ate upon our arrival was spectacular, I wish I had asked to meet the chef, my husband said the appetizer was the best scallops he has ever had. The sticky toffee pudding was sublime!! The woman who appears to be in charge of all aspects of the facility was very professional and friendly. If I am every lucky enough to get to Ireland again I would definitely stay here!!

We absolutely adored our day here! The hotel was beautiful with gardens and our room was lovely a nice sitting area plus bedroom, which over looked the garden. We only spent one night but it’s somewhere I wish we could have stayed longer. Only about 15 mins from doolin it’s all a very charming part of the country a must stay! The two women at the hotel were so kind and welcoming and made the most scrumptious breakfast for us! Stay here you’ll love it.

This was a lovely property and we would stay again in a heartbeat. The surrounds and garden were so attractive and well maintained & our room was literally perfect. Martina was a charming hostess. Breakfasts were gourmet & the evening we ate in the restaurant ranked in the top ten of a widely traveled couple.

An absolute gem of a hotel in a lovely part of Ireland. Lots to do in the local area and a typically Irish warm welcome. Food was great, the room was spacious and comfortable with good facilities. This had a nice old-fashioned country hitel feel, but with all the modern conveniences one could want. I cannot recommend Sheedy's highly enough.

We recently stayed at Sheedys and couldn't recommend it enough. The room was spotless and spacious, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning and the host was nothing but pleasant throughout our stay.

There is nothing i didn't like. On the contrary, i found many things i totally loved. As Martina's hospitality, and warm smile, John's cooking (oh wow), the home feeling in the whole residence, the unique ideas they have for their guests (as amazing light woolen blankets instead of duvet!!!, so you can add or take off as many as you want), as the cozy feeling in all over the hotel,(living rooms, library, bedrooms) and i could go on and on.... I only wish i will return as soon as possible with all my family.

Truly outstanding food ( the best I had in Ireland) coupled with an old world charm, we really enjoyed our stay. Consider this as a great place to stay if you are going to see the Cliffs of Moher.

Sheedy's is my first choice when visiting the Burren, the Clifs of Moher and County Clare's historical sites. I love staying in period properties so I can experience history and Sheedy's has retained that feel while providing updated facilities designed to make one's stay more comfortable. I have experienced some of the best meals in Ireland at this locale. I highly recommend this lovely manor house facility.

We could not fault this hotel in anyway from the initial check in to checking out we were made to feel at home. The hotel is quite, comfortable and spotless. The food is of an extremely high quality. If you are looking for nice place in the west of Ireland to get away from it all then look no further. You won’t be disappointed with this hotel. We wil be back.

Very nice quiet room, wonderful food in restaurant, close to Cliffs of Moher & Burren.

This was a great place to stay as we travelled up the West Coast to Galway. Really helpful and friendly staff. Great food too.

Sadly, we only had one night here! This was such an incredible bed and breakfast! Mrs. Sheedy bent over backwards to make sure everything was done to perfection! Breakfast was white linen and multi-course...all included in the cost. Highly recommend staying here!!!

This hotel was a bright stop on our trip. It is located within a nice town with lots of restaurants and night spots to visit. The hotel owners were extremely pleasing and helpful, and the breakfast was truly excellent! Would definitely stay again.

I don't usually write reviews, but this place really stood out during my week in Ireland. The staff were extremely friendly and receptive and the hotel room was very spacoius and clean. The breakfast was also very generous and tasty.

Restaurant & Bar food exceptional in quality & presentation. All local produce & suppliers are named in menus. Excellent wine list & great knowledge of items on it.
Large comfortable quiet room. Personal welcome by hostess Martina whose husband John produces superb dishes in the Kitchen.
Demonstrated interest in guest tastes with willingness to cater for allergies with thoughtful & tasteful alternatives.
Very good in-house library & fire caters for those days when it is just too cold or wet to follow the advice about and how to find local attractions.
