Nice cosy hotel, large room and decent breakfast but let down by the ingrained mould in the bathroom around the edge of the shower cubicle. The sealant could so easily be removed and replaced, I dont understand why they left it to get so bad. Room 302.

Waterford Marina Hotel is the best hotel in Waterford. Spotless rooms, that are up to date with modern design. The rooms are beautiful, the room I had was a river view room everything needed was there. Tea and coffee making facilities, complementary water on arrival. All the team at the Waterford Marina Hotel are brilliant and are always ready to assist as soon as possible. I always enjoy staying at the Waterford Marina Hotel it is truly marvelous.

The room was quiet, clean and spacious. This was the first stop on a 14 day trip to Ireland. It was a great location with easy walking to the sites and restaurants. It was a great room to relax in and try and beat the jet lag.

Great junior suite overlooking the river in Waterford. Well worth the extra money. Beautifully clean and spacious.Large king size bed and soffa bed, 2 televisions, 2 sinks in spacious bathroom and lovely walk in shower. Dressing area with selves and hanging space to side of bedroom, which also housed a fridge and safe
Staff so friendly and helpful. Food was of a good standard. Parking to rear of hotel, some in a large locked garage. Would certainly stay there again.

Location was wonderful … nice walk along the waterfront to the Viking Triangle area. Nice and clean bar and restaurant. The breakfast cost more than what we were told by the front desk and the food wasn’t very good. Our room faced the parking lot and there were NOISY deliveries made to the hotel EARLY each morning in that parking lot. One morning, in that parking lot, a truck was clearing out the sewer system and the stench was unbearable!

I loved this property because of its location. Easy walking to all the attractions in Waterford. The hotel was beautifully furnished and our room was quiet and had all the amenities we required. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food options in the restaurant were great and reasonably priced. I would recommend this hotel to stay in if thinking of visiting Waterford.

Only thing I didn't like was there was no aircon and the window overlooked and openned next to an outlet fan on the roof of the bar restaurant. The fan was quiet noisy and it was hard to sleep.

The property looked a little tired but it was clean.
The staff were professional. Although I did have to prompt the “Bistro” staff Lucy (one of the breakfast staff/ bar staff) was especially attentive and derives a special mention imo.
The menu options in the Bistro didn’t look too imaginative but it is fair, I would say, that there’s something for most people’s taste.
It was table services but not FULL table service neither did it set out to be so, be ready to adjust your own cutlery and serviette.
All in all the hotel was good value

This property does not make any attempt to convince you that it is anything other than what it is, which is student housing. I knew that going into it, but I think that it’s fair to make sure that others know as well. It’s a well-appointed dormitory facility. If you’re looking for a hotel, stay elsewhere! The best part of this place (other than being low-priced) is that there’s a bus stop right out front that can take you anywhere you need to go. I would highly recommend this place as long as you understand what you’re getting!

Ideal for a brief one night stay in Waterford. Secure parking. City centre walkable. Riverside location. We ate in the hotel restaurant as we had arrived quite late and we couldn't find anywhere else open or with availability.
