Charming hotel 25 minutes walking from the train station through beautiful places.

Everything was clean and nice. It was a little bit basic or typical Eurpoean hotel, but service was nice. I didn't have the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The location was perfect for walking around and site seeing.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was beautifully renovated and clean, quiet and great air conditioning. We loved the beautiful, full breakfast that came with our reservation. They have a beautiful dining room! On the main level is a nice bar with great aperol spritz! The location is a 10. You can take the train from airport and the stop is right across the street from the hotel! Super easy and $27 for 2 people each way…better than the $100 cab each way!

Check-in was seamless! The hotel provided online check-in in advance and our room was ready when we arrived, so it took less than 5 minutes!

This was my third time staying at Hotel Torbrau and they never disappoint. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location is convenient to all of the places I love to visit.

GREAT STAFF at breakfast and front desk. They learnt what we regularly ordered and would bring over unprompted. Very thoughtful. Room was wonderful, bed super comfortable, just right with many shelves drawers and hanging space, great for our 5 night stay. Highly recommend!

Hotel Torbrau is a friendly well run hotel with a great location. It’s about a five minute walk to Marienplatz, and the S-Bahn with direct links to the airport and main train station is a block away. My single room was compact, but clean and quiet. I especially appreciated the staff at the excellent breakfast who went out of their way to make their guests feel welcome in a room with a view of the Isartor.

Will be staying in this hotel again.

I believed it was not a good cost benefit. Restaurant was closed, staffing not helpful neither pleasant. Very good location though, and super easy parking.

This hotel was truly wonderful. Its location is perfect for walking to cafes, bakeries, shops, restaurants, and sights. Our hotel room was lovely / clean, great air conditioning, super comfortable bed and bedding, comfortable seating area with couch and chairs, mini fridge and desk. Breakfasts were so delicious with a great selection of hot and cold goodies. The staff were all awesome, including front desk, restaurant and housekeeping. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone planning a visit to Munich.

The Torbraeu is a traditional family-operated hotel that makes you feel like you are really in Munich. I enjoyed breakfast on the terrace and walking everywhere I wanted to go.

The hotel had character. It was gentile and had excellent and friendly staff from reception to the dining room. The only negative (which did not impact us) was the elevator not coming to the ground floor. This would be very difficult for a wheelchair person.

What a gem of a hotel! It is family owned and I must say that they hire the best staff! From the front reception, to the breakfast staff, to the maids, to the restaurant (thank you Keowta), each and every person we encountered was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is in a perfect location, close to lots of tourist sites! The rooms are spotless and although we chose a smaller room, it still was spacious enough. Our only complaint was that the TV was small, but that is a minor issue. You will not regret staying here!

Wonderful location near Old Munich.

Was only there for one night. Being a Expedia gold member I was hoping for room upgrade but did not receive one. The room I got seemed like a college dorm room. Very clean and everything I needed was there. Was like a small studio with shower, bathroom & bed all in one room. It was everything I needed and the AC worked really good! The room was nice and cold the way I like it!

Very friendly service and newly renovated room on the top floor. The hotel is also centrally located with many restaurants and pubs.

Fabulous hotel located on Marienplatz. Easy walking to all those locations and a cab ride away to the Residenz and other locations. Right near an underground train station, so you can get to and from the airport and other places, too. Breakfast is great, and the staff are, too. We will stay there again on our next visit.

We had a great stay. We asked for a quiet room and with the exception of Saturday night it was perfect. Being near the Hofbrauhaus it is understandable that Friday and Saturday would be noisy. It is in a prime location - walking distance to the Marienplatz and near an S-bahn stop. Breakfast was very good. I had two complaints. The internet was very slow and the pillows on the bed were too soft and flat. The front desk was very supportive and corrected the pillow situation but the internet speed remained slow. I would highly recommend this hotel despite the internet speed!

Close to transportation, shopping, restaurants and the old town square with many historic sights! Breakfast was nicely done and we received vouchers for a drink or snack at the bar nextdoor. Staff was helpful and gave recommendations and helped with tourist info.

We love this hotel and stayed there at the beginning and end of our visit to Munich. Its location is perfect for visiting Marienplatz. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and they are kind. The rooms are comfortable, and the air conditioning works well. The breakfast buffet is fabulous, and the restaurant-bar offered good drinks and convenient snacks.
