Overall is good. shower faucet was broken.

It was good for family with two kids. Property is old but Clean and plenty of room for family of 4. Near beach with walking distance. Only they dis not let us park until 5 at the checkout day where they had plenty of room in the parking cause us some trouble relocating the car.

Not very happy with the front desk ladies. I had called them to double check if I can get a balcony ocean view with my room. I was told I need to book than call them back. I had gone ahead and booked than I did call her back (right aways!). She remebered me calling and asking. She had told me she has openings and I am set for a balcony room. I get to the hotel. Get in early which is great but when I got to my room there was NO balcony. I called down to the front desk to ask them. They had not lied to me once but also lied to me again when they told me I was already booked for a balcony and wasnt. Than said they had none open which was a lie. Than told me it coast extra a night for a balcony room. That information never was told over the phone. This hotel needs new / better front desk ladies. Other than the lies the hotel was great. The beds were comfy. The housekeeping was also very rude. Its a shame its such a nice hotel with ignorant employees.

Our stay was amazing! We arrived early and the staff allowed us to use the amenities and even got the room cleaned so we could check in early. Our room had an amazing view of the ocean from the bedroom and balcony. It was the perfect view to wake up and go to sleep to. The TV was huge and the couch bed was very comfy for our kids and even had enough room for me to snuggle up and watch a movie with them. The game room wasn't the greatest, since two of the five games weren't working right, but the staff had one of the fixed by the next day. We also played pool, which was fun. They also had crafts for kids and adults at noon and 3pm everyday, which was nice. They had a nice area for the crafts with a lovely lady named Joanna helped my children make bird houses and shark necklaces. The crafts were very good quality. I loved that the beach was just steps away. It was easy for our family to go back and forth with ease. A major plus was the free coffee the Ocean key lets guests use until 10am everyday. It has a wide variety of coffee and add ons, so you can take your coffee to the beach and watch the waves or to the Bayside walkway and watch the wildlife while enjoying coffee and both are steps away from the hotel. All the staff were so nice and helpful. But my family's favorite part was the the pizza shop Roma Pizza right on the ground floor. The pizza was so good. The sauce, the huge slices and the great service. It only took minutes to get our food and you can sit inside, outside

It was an okay stay. Property is in bad need of upgrades and better cleaning. Would not stay here again.

The property was in better condition than the previous visit. My bathroom or shower was not in good condition because the water came out in the shower head and at the faucet handle. The staff was much nicer than in the past. Although I asked for a balcony, I had an interior room.

The unit we stayed needs a major renovation. Bathroom is old and rusty. Beds are terrible every year we go to VA beach and this year is the worst we had. I was not able to sleep. You can feel the spring of the bed I can't wait to go home. Hallway stinky smells like dead fish and so filthy a lot dirt and no one is cleaning. Elevator stinks so bad. We did not have internet connection on the for the whole time we stayed. The only good thing is the area dn people working are nice. They even call me to attend a time share seminar. I will never buy a time share whith this kind of place never. I will never come back.

The day we checked in there was an issue w the room we were assigned. The guy helping us tried to ask his coworker for help and she was just nasty w him. The 2nd night i called for fresh towels and wash clothes (i put old in hallway, assuming they would replace) after 30 minutes still nothing. I went to the front desk to ask for them and she gave me towels but no wash clothes. The pool is nice but isnt closed in so the humidity is the whole area. The elevators are so slow. This place overall was ok but we will probably look elsewhere for our next stay in VB.
