Staff doesn’t inform guess about property activities.

Broken safe, mold in bathroom, dity matress, room smelled like pee, old bed sheets, old bed frame, the bathroom needs a remodeling. There were some mold around the sink area. It looked nothing like the pictures. I was staying at the tropical. Perhaps the other areas are in better shape.

What I liked about the property was how close everything was and the different choices I had to choose from. I didn’t like the fact tht there was no snack bar with food ready, it needed to be ordered. Thanks,

The rooms was not up to standard. The ac did not work and I had a leak in my bathroom. the bathroom flood would flood with water and the housekeeper would mop water up and 30mins later it was flooded again

Locals invade the property when teased with special prices. Most are extremely rude and self centered.

We stayed at this resort for 10 days! The first 5 days our bathroom ceiling was leaking and no matter how many times they tried to fix it, it would not work! The check in was fast and lobby has no A/C but is tolerable. Restaurant reservations was smooth and Miss Angelica Hernandez at guest services made every reservation easy for us. The pools were clean but filled with children and kinda noisy! Also the pool hours are strange, they close the pool right when the sun is about to go down at 6.00PM! Also the Expedia representative try to get you to go for a 60 minute ride around property and give you a free gift bag in order to sign you up for their vacation club, but you can always reject them!! Our 2nd 5 days after they changed our room was fantastic and the best part of this resort is the VIP beach access in which we used daily with bar and beautiful cabanas. The buffet was very good and had verities every day, also order to made breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff were very nice and helpful. Mr. Leo, Expedia rep was great help and very polite gentleman and made sure we had everything we needed!! Also Mr. Dilson at front desk was very polite and helpful, the maid service was also available daily on requests and was very good. Shuttle to take you to other properties around was very prompt and airconditioned! Over all we had a good stay and will return if the price is right.

Everything was easy to get to...

This property was horrible from the start. Given a room with a shower broken & laying on the floor after a 13 hour airport experience & 100 degree heat. Was given a new room on day 2 & thought that would resolve things however in that room the air conditioning did not work. Later found out thawas the case in alot of the rooms either did not work or were spraying water out like a rain forest. It was sooooo hot & miserable with no air. Impossible to sleep at night. Then th door key quit working everytime you left the room and you had to go back to reception to get a new one or someone to let you in. They were not very wiling to work with anyone to solve any issues to make our stay more comfortable and by they i only mean the front desk. for the most part the rest of the employees were very helpful and friendly but the reception & guest services would not budge an inch to resolve the room situation. My god it was almost a 100 degrees every day and it was impossible to sleep in the room at night . I still cannot understand why they just would not give a different room instead of ruining someones vacation. My daughter ended up getting heat exhaustion from being so overheated for a week . Not how i had envisioned our vacation to go. I work hard for my $s as a single mother & i am deeply upset how my vacation was ruined by choosing this resort. HOPEFULLY they will do the right thing and refund my money so i can take a relaxing vacation like i had planned.

the fact that there was no AC in my daughters room and there was water leaking out from the bathroom so no good at all

Incredible resort

Check in was a headache!!! Super hot, a huge line and took so long! Food was not good at all! Drinks were watered down! Pool and beach closed early. Not much to do!

Nice family vacation!

Checking was not organized, there is not free wifi you have to pay extra, running water was intermittent and there was not clear information regarding access to different areas of the resort complex. I liked the a la carte restaurant but the buffet lacked variety.

The location is okay, but customer service is going down the drain.

Food was better than expected. No chairs on the beach was a big problem for us. The property is tremendous so a golf cart is a must especially for the elderly. Needs more entertainment. Quality of liquor is bad. VIP pool is great as is the chasers bar. The guest that hung out at the main pool at tropical were low class. We traveled with small kids and could not stay there anymore because of language and extracurricular activities taking place.

My stars go to the service. The cleaning staff and the service staff at the restaurants and bars go above and beyond to make you feel good and comfortable. The Spa was also good and had great service. However the property is in very bad shape. The rooms are very outdated. We had a leak in our room. The furniture in the room was old and broken. The bathroom walls and faucets were rusty which made the bathroom look dirty. The pool floor had many broken pieces of the cement. The fact that they charge for wifi and to have a safe in the room is unnaceptable. I wouldn't stay again unless they renovate the property and make your stay more comfortable including the basics of every resort in DR.

I couldn’t do a restaurant reservations for my group . The drinks were like water bad service at all.

I believe the hotel has false advertisement. The entertainment was very limited, no dancing club, pool closes at 6p.m., staff were not accommodating. They charged for every minimal service. There were roaches coming out the bathroom drain it was disgusting. I paid for wifi service and it never worked and they didn't want to reimburse me. Adults only pool had children everywhere. There's no one to enforce their own policy. And the people staying there were of low class, no manners yelling and screaming, cussing as if they were at home. The hotel property was pretty but I would never refer this hotel to anyone.

For the price, the property was fine. The pool areas were nice. The food in the buffet could have been better and more varied. It was usually the same, especially for breakfast. The staff were very polite and helpful. There were many inconveniences with the lights going off 3 or 4 times in about 3 days. In our room, 5321, we killed around 10 roaches. I don't know about the other rooms, but it needs to be exterminated. I would rate the property overall a 3 or 4.

Management have changed a lot it used to be an excellent place now is terrible I won’t recommend this complex
