Shout out to Brian at the front desk. He was very pleasant and helpful. Also, the hotel was great. Our room was spotless and well equipped. We would definitely recommend this Candlewood Suites to anyone looking for a good place to stay in Richmond.

I always stay at this hotels when visiting this area. It is the best value for your money. The 1 bedrooms suites are spacious and comfortable. Convenient to the outlets and Disney property.

Out bed mattress was no good. When you get in the bed mattress fall in and you end up in the middle. Roach in the bed

Super cute and functional room, great shower. Neither of us thought the bed was comfortable, but others may. He thought it was too soft and i thought it was too hard. Breakfast is pitiful, so if youre a morning protein person, plan to look elsewhere.

Technically we did not stay. Hotels.com did nt innform me of the outrageous pet fees when I booked so I did not check in. I should be refunded my room fee as Hotels.com did not disclose the pet fee in advance. PET FRIENDLY was all it said. $125 EXTRA for one night is outrageous. I went to Red Roof in, whose total charge was less than the add-ons. Highly recommend Red Roof Inn. There is of course no way to contact Hotels.com to request a refund. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE A PET

Not do to the hotels fault but the guests in the room next to me were making noise all night until 3am along with the smell of marijuana. To the point that I had to call the front desk to make a complaint.

The hotel met my needs for the stay. It was helpful to have a full fridge, stovetop, and microwave.

We chose this place in a pinch. I needed a full kitchen and king bed and they had both. The room is small. No breakfast, no sofa, nightstand on one side only. No table to sit at for meals. Seems odd with a full kitchen and plates and you have to sit on the bed to eat.
Luckily, brought my baby's bathtub, because there was no tub and both sinks are small. Also, after walking barefooted the bottom of my feet were black. I guess they figure gray floors don't need mopping. The channel guide on the TV did not work either. Staff was very accommodating as we needed to stay another night and we were able to keep our same room. The bed and pillows were super comfy. The kitchenette is fully stocked with everything you need. Served it's purpose.

The stay was great! Bed was very comfortable as well as having access to a half kitchen was wonderful. I did however see roaches in the bathroom. Other than that, the room was smelled clean.

Very Nice Space, Bed was comfy and the pull out couch was suprisinly comfy as well. The restraunent next door was good and it's in a great spot for the Convention Center. Front Desk service was prompt and professional. 10/10 will be staying here for my next convention in Richmond.

It’s a one night stay but we are happy from checking in up to checking out. The services is fast and the room is neat and clean. I’ve been to a couple branches of Candlewood hotel and all of them I am very satisfied. I hope keep it that way

The front desk person, Brian, was the nicest person! Super friendly and personable and should be promoted to the manager of this hotel. Although the room was clean we still had cockroaches and the faucet in the bathroom was almost falling off. The icing on the cake was at 9am having the housekeeping lady came barging in the room without knocking and we were naked!!! Then when contacting the manager he was super unprofessional and just wanted to get off the phone. Had to call three times and give all my information each time to get anything done and even then it took the great front desk person (Brian) to give me any help! Again Brian is an awesome employee and he should be the manager because he was the best!! Picture included is a cockroach we killed!!! Yuck!!!

The building was under construction but it wasn’t a huge deal other than not being able to take the stairs. The A/C in the bedroom did not work great- it didn’t have an option to have both constant fan and the A/C running, so if you wanted the fan on full time, it was just the fan and no A/C. Otherwise a nice place, big room. Would stay here again

Two nights straight the fire alarm went off total
of times.
When I approached the hotel desk to
request some sort of discount for keeping me up two nights straight, I got nasty attitudes.
I have to escalate this with my credit card company and also contact IHG corporate.
