The resort is very nice the beach is very clean, they work on the beach all day removing glasses and straightening lounge chairs and seaweed from the shore. Love the attractions on the beach they cook, many games that the staff gets everyone involved. My only issue with the beach area the only towel hut is by the pool which is a distance from the beach. The pool area is also kept clean and the entertainment and music is fun as well. The bar staff of very attentive.
As for the night entertainment it’s not much but a good place to get to know the other guest at the resort

The staff was friendly and helpful. They need to address room maintenance and cleaning issues prior to guest arrivals. Some standard rooms had outdated bathrooms. Buffet restaurant was warm and some foods were not at the right temperature. Food variety was good. Did not appreciate pool bar service was self service only. Pool area was nice. I was surprised that the star camp only allowed toddlers for an hour a day. However, the theater kid show was fun and kids enjoyed it

Second time here , its my go to resort when i visit my wifes family in santiago. I believe iberostar is the best resort in puerto plata. I dont have anything negative to say its a small resort with everything you need .

The staff were friendly , the food was good, but the hotel needs to update , everything looks old , the room was terrible, beds old, poor air conditions. The bathroom was old, even the garbage can was moldy.the room smells like moldy. The beach was dirty. I would not go back there again.
