The mini fridge stopped working. I brought it to their attention, but nothing changed.

I found the furniture run down sofa stained hall carpets ragged. Asked for 2 bathrobes. There was 1 had holes not even sure they were laundered.

The hotel was nice and historic. We did eat the first night at the Blue Mermaid. The food and service was great. Parking at the hotel is impossible valet is the only option. Traveling with a child in a wheelchair that is medically fragile we had a lot of stuff and the valet was patient but we felt rushed. They were grabbing items out of our car. It was chaos. We also could not access our car without getting valley. No fault of the staff or building but it just wasn’t right for our needs. The hotel was very nautical and cute. The room was spacious. The mini bar situation was too much for us and less alcohol in the room would have been more ideal. We had room service breakfast which was great and fast. Cool hotel but not for complex medical accommodations .

Hotel is in a great walkable area to the Piers and Wharf. Lots of great restaurants and things to do near by. Had interactions with check in and Valet. I have to say I was not impressed by either. They did their job slowly and could really care less. Property is a neat find but don’t be prepared to be “wowed” by a super attentive and friendly staff.

Listing stated “city view” of an alley. Felt unwelcoming from the checkin desk, oversized vehicle fee, plastic bag wrapped stuffed animals in the room. Couldn’t have been more shook for a dime at a carnival.

Argonaut hotel was a pleasant place to stay. Staff always helpful. The only issue we had was the rooms air conditioning. We could not get the temperature below 74 F.

Unfortunately our initial room has no fan in the bathroom, no bar soap and the noise from the air handler above was awful - but they upgraded us to a wonderful suite!

Great location in Fisherman’s Wharf. Quiet end of the seafront, located directly next to the Tram station (locally called Cable Car). Hotel very clean, welcoming, rooms were spacious and spotless. Would revisit!

This is the third time I’ve stayed here at the Argonaut. It is always a cool vibe and I feel very safe as a single woman staying here like this time or when I have brought my kids with me in the past. It’s the perfect location and very welcoming. I will stay here my next time in town as well.

Nice upscale hotel in a historic building near the Bay. Only criticism was the room is listed as a "City View." There was no city view!

The parking valet service and the bell staff are 5 star service no complaints whatsoever!!!!! However the concierge was not so welcoming didn’t tell me were the elevator were to my room didn’t tell me what the hotel had to offer were to busy behind there computer and forgot about customer service!! Anyhow the Hotel is very nice.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to SF. Location is perfect for accessing public transportation as well as being perfectly situated for walking to some attractions. The property was very clean and quiet. Staff were also friendly and helpful.

I found the $75 overnight parking fee completely outrageous. They also charged me $35 for a 'guest amenity fee', for which I don't understand the purpose or reason. So, I paid $110 over my booking price. I find it outrageous! Also, when I was checking in, the person behind the desk told me that I would get a $50 credit to use at the restaurant, which we did eat at that evening, but we never got the credit.

If you’re traveling to San Francisco for tourism with kids don’t look further. This is the perfect hotel in terms of location. Everything is in walking distance, cable car, pier 39, Lombardi street etc. nice view of the Golden bridge from the rooms on the 4 th floor. Room is spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. The restaurant on site is expensive but so is everything else in the area. The breakfast was definitely worth. We would not stay anywhere else for a family vacation in SF.

Great location in the wharf and super convenient if you have tours planned as they mostly go from the wharf area.

Appreciated the $15 daily credit to spend in the restaurant. We used the restaurant for breakfast a few of times and it was very nice.

Our flight got delayed so we missed our first night. Unfortunately we could not be refunded. Location was perfect, on Fisherman's Wharf next to Ghirardelli square. Breakfaat at the hotel was good. I had avocado toast. There are lots of restaurants and touristy things nearby. Our room was spacious. Bed was comfortable.
