Little deceiving on property details does not have a beach. The tiki bar was never open closed every day. Breakfast could be better.

start from the free breakfast - it was boxed with the frozen items, the third morning the half of the breakfast box items were missing, the area looks very unkept, there is no functioning bar or restaurant in the area. We had to pay a resort fee per day even though there was nothing to resemble a resort. Rooms were clean and well airconditioned. Also, there was a pool in nice size, no towel service by the pool.

For being a "resort", there's overall little on offer here. There's an oceanside bar and a poolside bar; both were closed the 2 days we were there. For some reason the door leading outside from our building was jammed open by the staff, making it so the whole building was sweltering hot, and therefore our A/C set to 61°F couldn't even keep up, and made it both a bothersome constant noise and uncomfortably warm in our room.

Worst experience ever! The place is old, not clean, the ice machine broken, the breakfast is limited and on top of that they overcharged, overcharges prices. Im still dealing with overcharges

This is our second time staying here. It will probably be our last. We were in building 3, it seemed older and in need of upkeep. Ice machine did not work. Bed was nice and room was nice. The pool is wonderful, pool area could use some clean up and there were lots of dead vegetation laying around the resort. , they needed landscaping. BUT the resort fee was ridiculous and the " breakfast " was a boxed breakfest with a cold folded over egg, some yogurt, a few muffins. There was cereal and some bread available in the breakfast room.. It was disappointing to say the least. The lady at the check in was a little rude when we arrived..

Beds were ok. Air conditioning was horrible. Didn't work well and super noisy. Location is ok. If it was a $200/ night hotel I wouldn't complain but for the price I have higher expectations than what we received.

Our air conditioner was just not cutting it. We spent our entire trip sweating.. inside. No fan in the bathroom so the humidity was stifling. The room was very clean and the grounds were beautiful.

Our room was not ready for almost 3 hrs after check in. We were given 2 drink coupons for the inconvenience, however neither the pool bar or the pointe bar were open any of the entire week we stayed.

the hotel was very abandoned, the resort part had no support from anyone, there were no employees around the resort, the bathrooms were very dirty, there were no pool towels. The website said there was a bar at the pool, but it was abandoned too. The accommodation part was ok, the room was clean and fresh, the TV wasn't working but they quickly changed it. The hotel has a lot of potential to be better, I think it needs better management.

They were short staffed, with nobody at the front desk at the time of check in/check out. The property and area was run down, with wood rot and rust everywhere. The free continental breakfast came in a brown box and all the food inside it was frozen and unable to be eaten. I had Read that there was a tiki bar open certain hours at the pool, but there was nobody there the entire weekend. Our room also had a musty smell to it that was coming from under our sink.

Really a shame of property. A lot potencial. Rooms are big but amenities and the public areas seems to be abandoned. Owner should put some love and hard work instead of walking around the property smoking cigarettes. The pool was dirty and bar was closed for the 5nights we were there.

The pools and hot tub was amazing. Our second night we were awaken around 12:30 am with lound banging and yelling. The lady right across the hall was banging with her feet and fist on the door to get in. Within a 30 minutes the police showed up and stafted banging on the door. I opened my door to see them pulling the guy out and arresting him. The breakfast is a cold to go box. Nothing hot and you dont get to pick what you want. Having a diabetic father we ended up eating out for breakfast our entire stay. One of the perks i picked this resort was for the breakfast included. Our bottle water in our room was never replaced after the first day. The bed was super comfortable and the location was good for what we was doing.

Took awhile to check in. Room was clean and nice. Parking lot had nails and broken wood and debris everywhere. All the grounds were terrible and it was not kept up at all. The pool tile was horrible and needed a cleaning desperately. The dock/cabana was cute and nice to walk out to. They call it a resort and it’s far from that. Very disappointed.

Pictures are deceiving!! Do not waste your time or money on this dump. Upon arrival, we found this “resort” a total wasteland. Filthy, littered with bags of garbage, overflowing trash cans, broken down jetskis. The property looked abandoned. We tried cancelling and they refused to refund our money. Took the loss and found a MUCH nicer place to stay.

Honestly I was disappointed when I got here. The only good thing I can tell has been the customer service at desk. The whole facility it’s old and nothing related to the online pictures. The rooms are dirty, bathroom it’s disgusting they should clean better because even though it’s been updated they haven’t cleaned well for a while. The pool area it’s super old and dirty too. You guys need to do better for the prices that you charge it’s not worth it.

Very disappointed with this hotel, we bought our jet ski together with the boat and they told us that we couldn’t use the ramp for the jet ski and then on Saturday we saw two jet ski using it because Dory the Marine lady allowed them. We had two kids and I have to wait for my husband to go drop ours on the public marine. Another thing on the day of check out someone was knocking our door at 10am to do the check out like we didn’t knew the check out was at 11 am. I spoke with the manager on Sunday morning which was not very helpful at all saying that the new GM was the one allowing the jet ski, but only to some people not to all the guests, how is that? The breakfast is horrible, they give it prepare in a box (muffin, bagel, and a fake tortilla). For sure I’m not coming back.

Beautiful location and grounds. Friendly people, nice amenities and marina. Rooms are a little worn, but comfortable.

The breakfast was a cold boxed meal that was very unappealing and huge negative to an otherwise wonderful stay.

Clean friendly and relaxing

Guests across the hallway had (at least) 2 dogs who went wild when the owner left and did not stop until the owner's return. This was extremely inconvenient and totally disturbing. Two days I was unable to enjoy and afternoon siesta due to this. It sounded more like a kennel than a resort. Maid service was sub-par. The floors appeared VERY neglected. Debris from the trees and plants was in the foyer and on the stairs. A kid with a blower came by ONCE that I noticed, and his head was in his phone, not on what his blower (wasn't) doing. The "Continental Breakfast" consists of a box of synthetic (1) egg & cheese omelet, 4 oz of OJ, a bagel, and two surprise mini-muffins. For someone with food allergies, it was hit and miss, trial & error on the muffins. Two bars on the property, neither of which was manned. The one on the pool, we were forewarned about, the bar by the marina however was "supposed to be open" but never was. This and the "breakfast" made the daily resort fees just another $50 fee. The resort did not earn that fee. Other than the kennel issue, the resort was quiet and pleasant. The pool was maintained (beware the Iguana poop piles...)

Second time staying at Banana Bay. Lovely rooms, lovely staff and lovely views.

We really enjoy it and everything was good. The staff, the room was very clean, big and have everything you need. The only thing we don't like was the air condition because didn't cool well. But overall was a good experience.

Building and rooms smelled like and and rooms like an ashtray.

Close to grocery stores and drug stores. Fast food is nearby. All under 5 min.

I had a terrible experience I wish I also had pictures, there was the small cockroach around the coffee maker, the air conditioning takes up to 4 AM to cool down and when the man from "Maintenance" came in my mother was opening the balcony and he immediately said of course it wont cool down with the balcony opened he just assumed we had the door open all the way and this is why it was not cooling down. We also had towels sitting in the floor for them to piclk up since this is something that is done at all hotels and the "house keeping manager" super unprofessional screamed from the hall way that we had left a towel all dirty and we were being charged for doing this a 25$ fee cause it was going to be unable to be washed. No Microwaves in the rooms if you need to heat up a milk for your babies you need to go to the front desk, refrigerator not cooling, you need to go to the front desk for them to give you ice and one of the days I was given two cups the ones used for coffee with ice SERIOUSLY???? & to top it of you need to go get the coffee and towels needed yourself to the front desk cause the phone was not working!!!
