Nice place to stay. The location is great if you’re taking the ferry from Washington. It’s a 5 minute walk from the terminal. Breakfast was good, with lots of options.

The Embassy Imn is a wonderful place to spend a night or two in downtown Victoria. A block from the waterfront, its location is perfect. Breakfast is provided making the room price very acceptible.

Location is perfect for downtown Victoria and harbour. Decor a little dated but very clean. Allowed early parking and late leaving. Would definitely stay again.

Very easy to get to and from the Ferry to the hotel. Breakfast was very good and had coffee machine on all night. Excellent stay.

Very clean and well maintained hotel. Nice spacious room living room in our suite and a great breakfast included. Excellent location. Our only disappointment was the inflexibility when we requested a late check out due to a night flight. We offered to pay a fee but were declined, despite rooms being available. We were willing to move. There was no discussion to be had, just a straight no.

The hotel is older but very clean and well kept. The room was clean and had a fridge and microwave. The breakfast is good, although no hot food for a couple of days due to equipment problems. Great location and there was lots of parking for $15 a night. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a good stay.

The hotel let themselves down by removing the hot breakfast options of bacon and eggs a fries to just a cold continental and waffles. Many I saw were disappointed. Even if the stove was broken there and this was not proven but there were options. The kitchen let you down.

We have stayed at this hotel four times over the years. Each time it gets better. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Situated in the picturesque harbour area, a short walk to Fisherman’s Wharf, a five minute walk to the ferries to Seattle and Port Angeles. A secure luggage storage area for those arriving early or leaving after checkout time. Excellent breakfasts and breakfast rooms. And most importantly, very comfortable beds. Our hotel of first choice when we next visit Victoria.

Consistently clean, quiet and comfortable. Parking is easy and you can walk everywhere from here. The breakfast has a different selection from day to day but always includes hot items, pastries and fruit.

Great location close to everything yet quiet. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable except one of the queen beds was very noisy (as if it had a rubber sheet around the mattress or maybe the frame was the source of very loud noises anytime you sat on it and moved). The room had a bigger sized mini fridge and microwave which were handy.

My wife and I often make the 6 hr drive to visit her family in Victoria , and have stayed at the Embassy Inn many times and have always been very happy .
However , after the long drive this time we were given room 418 which turned out to be what seemed a beautiful suite .
Everything was wonderful until 4 am the next morning when it sounds like a 737 jet is taking off in the suite - it’s the exhaust fan from the kitchen below getting ready for breakfast, the fan is mounted on the roof above the room .
Almost impossible to sleep , but too tired to do anything about it at that time so we suffered through it to receive vague apologies, and “ yes we know’s , but they keep selling the room “ from the staff in the morning .

Older property, nicely updated. Beautifully maintained garden setting. A challenge with the air conditioner was attended to immediately.
Helpful and friendly staff.
Room was very clean and comfortable with daily service provided.
Included buffet style breakfast in clean, pleasant surroundings.
Located very convenient to inner harbour and major attractions such as the museum, Provincial legislature buildings and downtown shopping.
