Breakfast room is lovely, combining old and modern, with good quality, fresh meal selections. Staff very helpful and courteous. Easy walking to many key attractions. Wonderful restaurant choices

Perfectly situated within walking distance from the duomo, Via Dante and good restaurants. Excellent room, but a service structure more suitable to a guest house than a hotel.

Lovely little place in Milan where we felt right at home. We love a boutique hotel rather than the big places and this lovely inn is one of the reasons why. Quaint rooms, nice hosts, lovely garden patio… would stay here again.

So convenient to Via Dante and Duomo, La Scala, Galleria. Short walk from Cordona train station. Lots of restaurants. Charming hotel and great breakfast

The staff at the "Antica Locanda dei mercanti" was always super-friendly and helpful! Our room was perfect (size, bathroom, interior). We will make sure to stay at the "Locanda" again.

Loved my stay at Antica Locanda de Mercanti. The hotel is a bit hard to find but very charming, very good breakfast, excellent service at the front desk. I would de go back next time I am in Milan.

Nice staff and very good location - sadly beds not comfortable and left hand window fixed so that you cannot close shutter, meaning that you get light all night.

This was such a fun boutique hotel! It was in the cutest side street of Milan - extremely walkable to shopping, dining, and the duomo! My friend and I had the best stay here - the staff was SOOOO kind. The woman at the front desk was super helpful and showed us how to get around during our stay. 10/10 - would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay! Not a typical hotel..with 100 of guests.. It is a lovely small hotel where you can have peace and quiet after busy day. All key attraction are 10 min walk..Staff friendly and very supportive. I recommend this hotel mainly for 👬

Small and nice, central location, close to everything

Antica Locanda is a charming property located in a fabulous location in the historic center of Milan. If you want a locally run, charming hotel instead of the cookie cooker corporate hotels, this is for you. The building may be centuries old, but the rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable. Absolutely loved this hotel!

The room was spacious and clean. Staff were really nice and helpful from check in to check out. The area is very central. One thing I didn’t like was that I can hear the person in the unit upstairs walking around at 5am.

Absolutely loved this hotel, staff so helpful. When you arrive you wonder whether you’re in the right place, but on entry, opens up to a quirky boutique hotel. Situated in the city beautifully. My daughter had the best birthday in Milan

Great location. Had a room w a terrace, which was an oasis in the city. It was comfortable and bright, and even had a kitchenette (didn’t use). The hotel is within a commercial/residential building. You need to walk up a small flight of stairs to get to a tiny elevator. It was ok for me but might not be for everyone.

Liked the size of room, bed comfortable and bathroom accommodating However no view and the stairs late at night could be challenging.

Hotel staff, especially Eri, are outstanding. Rooms are small but tasteful, furnished balconies are lovely. Excellent neighborhood for walking to shops and restaurants.

Did not receive the room that we booked! I specifically chose this hotel because it had a terrace and I booked a terrace room accordingly, but when we checked in and were shown to our room no terrace. I pointed this out to the clerk and was told there was "a problem with the terrace and that this room was a free upgrade". I reiterated again that I only chose this hotel because of the terrace and that I was not happy with the room, again I was told that there was a problem with the terrace that they couldn't fix due to lack of help and that this was "a free upgrade", as our car was parked on the street and we needed to move it and return it to the rental car company and we were tired from driving I didn't argue further. The next morning after a little investigating we found out that there was nothing wrong with the terrace and that all the terrace rooms were booked. When we expressed our displeasure to the morning desk clerk and pressed him on the matter we were told that only our room had a "problem with the bathroom"! We were never offered an apology and were lied to. I must add that my husband is native Italian and speaks fluently so language wasn't an issue. The sofa in our room was stained, the hotel was very hard to find because it isn't marked at all. We had to go into the hotels on either side of it (that did have signage to inquire) We stayed in 7 different hotels on our travels through Germany and Italy and this is the only one we wouldn't return to or recommend.

Beautiful little place with lots of charm and an amazing staff. Nice area as well!

We did struggle to find the hotel as it is behind a rather anonymous door, but they had emailed us to warn us of this, so they did try! Once inside everything was great - welcoming and helpful staff, a clean room with a wonderful roof terrace, where we were offered our breakfast. Will definitely try to stay here again on future trips to Milan.
