The picture shows big building hotel but there is also a motel style building next door where rooms are offered. So make sure to check before booking.

We came to LG for the hot air balloon festival. The hotel location cannot be beat, especially for the price point. Front desk staff were fantastic. Zero issues on checking in early for what seemed a very busy weekend. Rooms are dated in the “standard” tier. Restaurant food (1 dinner and 1 breakfast) were good for the price. The best part of this hotel is location, location, location and view, view, view.

We live the hotel. We have stayed there many times before. This was our first time after Labor Day. Looking forward to going back next year.

Fort william Henry Hotel is one of the better hotels. Not much more expensive than other hotels, and accommodations are much better. I have stayed at over 15 different hotels in Lake George and this is our favorite hotel.

Very nice property and very friendly staff. Very easy to walk to almost anything around town. Only small complaint I have is the door to the room was a little harder to open and close from the metal rubbing. I will definitely be looking to book here in the future.

This place is just wonderful. Well maintained. Great service. Close to everything you could want to do in Lake George. Made some great family memories :)

Fort William Henry Resort is beautiful, with tons of amenities that are worthwhile. My only regret is not having the time to really take advantage of the beautiful Olympic size pool this time around. There is so much to do Within the property itself. We have visited the Fort, had lunch at the Lookout cafe and breakfast at the White Lion. The views from here are just breathtakingly gorgeous. I would recommend renting a fire pit and just relaxing on the Veranda. Also, make sure you get here for Fireworks on Thursday night.

Had a great time staying there with my son. Breakfast is fantastic and the location is close to shopping and Six Flags. The setting on the lake is gorgeous but in the range of pizza delivery.

We love staying at the Fort William Henry. This is our favorite place to stay. Our third time staying and it's official, we will probably stay here every time we go to lake George. Love the bar area both outside on the patio and by the fire pits. The property is amazing and everything is right there. Hotel is conveniently located by everything. My son loved seeing and hearing the steamboats. Overall, expect to see us again.

It was lovely! Setting is just beautiful, front desk staff extremely friendly and helpful.
The only suggestion I have is to put a full length mirror in the room.

The property is located at the southern end of Lake George. The views are gorgeous. Fort William Henry (1755-1757) is adjacent and hosts historic tours. Its a lovely place for an event, or a get away weekend.

Nice property, room didn’t have pull out sofa so staff gave us two rollaway beds. The rep was very kind especially when we asked for a new one because the mattress was uncomfortable. Pool area very nice, lawn games added great fun. Close to everything. Will stay again.

Definitely our favourite hotel we’ve stayed at in Lake George so far. The hotel is historic but not dated. The rooms have been recently renovated very nicely and the facilities (aside from the indoor pool) are very well maintained. The outdoor pool is beautiful, clean and has a great view. Parking is easily and plentiful. It’s in the absolute perfect spot possible as well - central to all shopping, dining and attractions. You couldn’t pick a better spot. We are definitely staying here again!

Very poor coffee. AC in room was very loud and erratic. Stayed three days for a wedding but couldn’t extend stay until 2:00 without paying an extra 1/2 day.

I liked everything about this hotel. But I wish the bar area would stay open a little later and also the out door pool. But I would stay there again.

Our room was not ready for chech in at 4:00pm so they said they would call when room was ready but they never did. We eventually went back to the front desk and they said our room was ready but they didn’t call us because they were too busy. Our lakeview room was obstructed by trees and we could not see the lake very well. The room should be listed as partial lake view.
