As a cheap crash hole near the station and town centre it’s great. But the room was very tired and pretty dirty. Shower had lots of pressure and hot water and wi fi was good

Both nights that I slept in the hotel, the TV turned on automatically while I was sleeping. I checked and there was no alarm set on the TV. It turned on to a bright white screen with instructions to share my screen to watch from my phone to the TV.

'clean' towels and duvet cover had blood stains and hairs on them.

Easy check in , room was very tidy. Nice hot shower.
The only downside was the twin room beds were uncomfortable , breakfast was ok , lots of choice.

Very disappointing; TV didn't work & I was told there's nothing they can do as they're fully booked & TV person has gone home. Toilet smelled of urine as if it needed a good clean & as the bathroom door didn't shut (swollen with damp) the whole room smelled of urine. The shower was sadly only just warm even on the 41 degrees setting, not hot enough to wash effectively. Bed was comfy but I won't be back.

You know what you get when you stay at Ibis. The quality of the breakfast bar is good but not as good as it used to be.

Bathroom smelled like an open sewer - awful. Felt like it was coming from the shower cubicle. Shower head also didn't work properly.

Dzhulia". Needless to say when I arrived nobody had looked at it, and they had overbookedy room type so I didn't even get what I paid for, dreadful service. I also complained to hotel about the wash basin and associated surface having not been cleaned, I got no response. One to avoid on the future.

This is a very convenient property only a block from the train and walkable to the rest of Reading. Staff is awesome and room was clean.

This hotel is one step above a hostel. It was clean, but stark and minimalist. The elevators are inadequate and often resulted in frustratingly long waiting. The breakfast was good. It is well located to see downtown sights. It was hard to find. We went past the narrow shopfront entrance twice before we figured it out. Generally the staff seemed distant and disinterested.

Found it very noisy during the night..police sirens and noisy people outside the hotel. Plus found the room very warm and only able to open the window a very small amount.

Didn’t like hard floor. Mattress was the most uncomfortable I have slept on. First night I hardly slept. Was better 2nd night only because I folded duvet over and slept on it. Kettle nowhere near a plug!!

Location is good,,hotel is clean. However, the room key system is poor. Every time we use the key to go into the room, it is not working. The staff says cant keep it with phone, powerbank or wallet. This is quite disappointed and wasting our time to request to reset the key.

Perfect for my visit to Reading. Five minutes walks form the station and close to shops and local sites. Delightful friendly, helpful and courteous staff. Clean. comfortable spacious room and pleasant lounge area. Very good breakfast in bright, pleasant dinging room. The bedroom area was quiet and peaceful and I felt safe and secure in the hotel. Thank you.

I always have a good stay here, it is perfectly located for where i am working when i stay here. I an usually given a higher floor where it is quiet and there is very little noise from outside or in the corridoors. It also a lot better value for money that the Novotel next door
