The view from our room was amazing, just beautiful. The indoor pool/spa was fantastic, spent a lot of time there and loved it.

Our stay at the Ramada was very relaxing and enjoyable.

Needs updating. Lounge was broken. Dishwasher did t work, Mould in drains on the balcony. Being told I had to be in club Wyndham to use the games room or bikes was very ordinary

Stayed for 2 nights. Labelled studio however very large room with seperate bedroom and kitchenette. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Girlfriend was a little grumpy on arrival but soon relaxed in the large in room spa. As a result , she was sweet as pie for the rest of the stay. Friendly staff . Would have liked to stay another night but was fully booked out. Only thing we didn’t like was the 10am checkout, Saturday morning. We asked if we could check out at 11am and was told it would cost an extra $50 . Never been asked to pay extra to stay an hour more . Free covered parking was a bonus

First time staying at the Ramada and it was great. The room was huge with a beautiful view. Great food options right out the front of the resort.

Wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful apartment. It's a shame there weren't any Screened security doors as well on all the doors leading out onto the balcony, as other people from the other apartments, plus a dog, could have access to our balcony, so we didn't feel it was safe enough to leave our balcony doors open. The cleanliness, views, size of the apartment was perfect. The staff were all very nice and friendly. We will be back.

Hard to get in and of shower/bath for small person with disabilities. Should have hold rails on the bath itself.

Good location

Furnishings uncomfortable- could not sit on lounge for any length of time. No TV in bedroom. Pillows very uncomfortable. Felt more like a motel room not an upscale apartment. However, location was amazing, views spectacular, staff very friendly and helpful

Great location with beautiful water views. Our only disappointment was the indoor pool that was supposed to be heated - the main reason we chose this hotel. We were twice told it was 29* but it was NO where near that so we couldn't swim (nor did anyone else while we were there!).

Unfortunately was given a Split king bed instead a King bed, not comfortable.

Amazing view, facilities great but dirty tissues and broken hair clip etc found in bedside drawer, Would stay again though.

walk to the main beach

We love the location with spa, cafe, restaurants and the bay walking distance. We were a little shocked at how bad the presentation of the common areas were. There were damaged ceiling tiles throughout the whole corridor and even some that had fallen out. Our room was ok! It was cheap and cheerful. We had 2 singles and thought we would have a queen. I felt that the singles were small and the room was hot. Next time will confirm prior to exactly what the room configuration is.

Easy check in with very polite , friendly staff. Very central to restaurants and shopping.

A very nice and relaxing stay. The staff were polite and welcoming on check in, and our apartment was located on the top floor overlooking Port Stephens bay. As it's winter the indoor pool and spa area were perfect. The Ramada is directly across from water with Shoal Bay Country Club right next door. The Game Fish Club and other restaurants and cafes are near by.

A very enjoyable two night stay at the Ramada Resort. Check in was a breeze, parking easy, the room clean and large enough, and very quiet. Plenty of food options close by, I recommend Atmos for delicious Greek food! The bathroom was fine, but the shower head was a bit low for a very tall man. Nice place.

Loved the property, was as advertised, and the staff just had a friendly nature, great food and drinks, easy going vibe of the people in the area where we stayed at Shoal bay, definately 5 star rating will be going back on a regular basis.

Hotel is in a great location, across from the water, with great pubs, cafes and restaurants in walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was neat and the bed was very comfortable, but the lounge area was not as inviting. The bathrooms and rooms are a little aged. Was expecting a little more modern for the price and brand.

Booked a studio room which turned out to be in another street. Not part of the hotel. Was an old apartment building in the next street. Very run down. Couldn't use the aircon or fan due to the loud noise it made. Couldn't keep the door open as no fly screen. Bed was super uncomfortable and rolled into the middle. The staff are incredibly inexperienced. I was unable to check in at 1pm but given my car space and room number and told to put my car there and go to the club and wait for my room key. After a few drinks i came back and they said the room was wrong and i needed to move my car to another building. I had just had 3 drinks so there is no way i was drink driving. Then they gave me a room number saying your in 2003. I walked all the way out there to find nothing similar. Confused maybe they had got that confused with the carspace i went back to reception. They said oh no its z03. Very stressful and hard to go that far carying a 2 year old. Its all stair access so you cannot get to the studios with a stroller or wheelchair! Overall horrible stay. Will never go back.
