It was excellent except for the fact that there was no hot water. It was a little disappointing trying to take a shower with very cool water. I would have given them 5 stars if not for the lack of hot water.

It was an overnight stay from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon. Slept well shower was fantastic. We love the history behind the hotel. Jocelyn was kind and accommodating.

They have done a fabulous job restoring this historic property. Staff is very friendly, communicating well even before arrival. Lots of recommendations for dining.

I enjoyed our stay in Williams AZ, my father loved this towns history, proximity to the Grand Canyon and its Route 66 Americana. With his passing I needed to check it out for myself. The Historic Grand Canyon Hotel was perfect for our stay, team is very service oriented and helps with all aspects of our stay. Highly recommend!

Quaint property in the heart of Williams, AZ. Very central to diners, shopping, activities and the interstate. Property has historic charm, cute library, good continental breakfast and the staff is extremely nice and accommodating. Keep in mind it is still being retired so there is some minor construction going on in some areas.

Had fun

My sister and I were on a 7 state road trip and deliberately stayed away from the chain hotels when possible. I highly recommend this hotel. It is so quaint and charming and is located in the heart of town. The GM is hands-on and passionate about making your stay as enjoyable as possible. There isn’t an elevator so if mobility is an issue request the Carriage House.

Amazing stay excellent room up dated furnishings . Queen bed was comfortable. Enjoyable stay. Highly recommend this hotel.
General Brittany was very knowledgeable on available services and local businesses in Willams AZ . Once again I high recommend this hotel to anyone traveling on 1-40. Great stay

We loved our stay here. Everyone we met at the front desk was very friendly and there was a nice area to sit in the lobby. Perfect for walking around town.

Old school

This hotel is a gem with lots of old charm and character! If you are expecting perfection, this is not your spot! It is old, beautifully restored, but doors a bit crocked and floors are not straight, and that is just the charm! Steep stairs, no elevator. No coffe maker or fridge in room but nearby. Parking in back,do not park on route 66 you get towed! Right in town, but surprisingly quiet. Great walk around town, restaurant not in hotel, but just across the street. Small ’breakfast’ coffee, muffins, fruit. Lovely place! Highly recommend!

We erroneously slept with our window open and the staff was so accommodating, they even moved our belongings into a new room!

Location and excellent service

Beautiful historic property. Owners are still developing the property, so there are a few unfinished things, but that doesn’t take away from the experience at all. Recommended.

Can’t comment on staff/service as I arrived after hours but I was given really clear instructions about how to access my room. A pleasant stay, in an old building, with a lot of history, and very easy parking. My only slight gripe is that my ‘window’ was onto a ventilation shaft so it did feel a little dark and claustrophobic. Wouldn’t have stayed in that particular room if that had been made clear on the booking page.

Such a cute boutique hotel with fantastic staff! Located only 1hr from the Grand Canyon.. would certainly recommend staying here!

This is a very old hotel. While it has no tv, and the rooms are small, it was clean. It was also located right in the middle of Williams. Walk out the door and you are steps away from everything. For those who are looking for a room only to sleep and shower, and otherwise want to spend your time enjoying Williams, this is perfect.

The place was nice , our rooms were cozy but the chair in our room was old and crapy

Our stay was amazing, charming hotel right in the middle of Williams. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was better than expected - modern bedding but old fashioned authentic fixtures for a building from 1891. Glad we picked this hotel, would definitely stay again.

The room was nice and clean albeit small. We had no view out of our window, was a wall. At night heard some unexplained noises that made it a bit creepy. The sounds of things dropping on the floor, footsteps, and our door knob like someone was trying to open the door.

Great historical hotel. It’s been renovated but still has the old time charm. Stayed one night on our road trip. Brittany, the manager, was great!

Super cool hotel. Has so much character but is updated and decorated in the perfect ways. Super friendly and accommodating staff. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved having the opportunity to stay at this historic hotel. It'd been partially newly refurbished -- upgrades and light construction still underway as of 4-24 -- and the revitalized rooms were really lovely. You can tell the new owners put a lot of thought into comfort, style and amenities, not only in the rooms but also the second floor hallway/landing. The hotel is right on Williams' main street and very convenient to shopping, with several really good restaurants within one or two blocks. There's a very cool gallery featuring the works of local artisans next door, too. Our room was right at the top of the stairs, so we could easily hear what was happening in the lobby. Otherwise, our stay was perfect. We'll definitely stay again when our travels take us to Williams.

Great location in downtown Williams. Highly recommend

This hotel is wonderful! The history is so rich and is well preserved. The rooms are clean and updated with modern amenities while maintained a historic feel. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful! They really want it to feel like a home away from home and do a great job with making it a welcoming environment. They encourage guests to wander the halls and spend time in the common areas (lobby and amazing Victorian library). It is right in the middle of downtown Williams so it’s just a couple minutes walk to anything you want to see and do (including only a 5 minute walk to the Grand Canyon train). I highly recommend staying at this hotel!

Absolutely loved it, if you're Even considering staying here, DO IT! Insanely beautiful and just the perfect hotel experience you could ask for. Calm, quiet, personal, and nothing about it is commercialized like other hotels from chains. It's almost like having a house to yourself. The area is perfect, it's right next to a wide array of stores, art galleries, restaurants, all without the chaos of a commercialized town. 10/10 there's not a single thing that could have been better.

Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. The only thing wrong was there was no TV. We always fall asleep with the TV on and it was difficult without that noise. I've never had a hotel room with no TV. Other then that... Perfect!
