There is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. It is adequately, if sparsely, furnished (think ikea chic).The bed was comfortable with good quality linen. Bathroom was clean and bright. I didn't use the kitchen equipment it all seemed ok. The only problem was the temperature of the room. It was 25 dégrees C when I arrived late afternoon as it was West facing and the shutter had not been closed. The second night, despite having closed the shutter for the day, the temperature was 27C. It didn't cool down until after dark with the windows open. As a consequence, I didn't get much sleep either night.

The accommodation was perfect for an overnight stay

This is budget accommodation, however the strong ingrained smell of cooking within the room was overpowering and left us unable to stay here. Maybe I misunderstood the description as it’s not close to the centre and it looks like unused student accommodation. Didn’t fancy leaving the car exposed outside so we checked in then checked out. We didn’t stay. Might be ideal for young lads used to a hostel type stay.

Good location , practical to have kitchen good price

We stayed here on an overnight stop on our way to spain. Very easy to find, petrol station near by. We would definitely stay here again. The rooms had all the amenities we needed and very clean and comfy.

Pau is a lovely city and we enjoyed our visit.The apartment had a separate bedroom a sofa bed in the living room / kitchen and separate bathroom with bath. It was clean comfortable and well equipped with microwave dishwasher and fridge Parking readily available and free wi fi. It is situated close to a school and not far from the supermarket. Wonderful view of the Pyrenees from our third floor room

Room facilities fine but room smelt musty and of stale food. Passage lights on timers the switches for which were broken so entry and exit difficult as very hard to lock/ unlock door. Staff answered specific questions but offered no information and showed no interest. Wifi only worked very intermittently in room (third floor), could only get effective access by going down to reception.

for people who are not difficult to satisfy it represents a good value

For the price which we thought very reasonable.The room was well equipped, clean and pleasant.

A huge studio room - large double bed, kitchenette with fridge, 2 ring stove and a grill/microwave (?), large bathroom with shower over bath. Bed was comfortable, room was very clean and warm. Wifi access was offered free. Staff friendly and helpful. Lift useful as I had luggage. Parking spaces are quite narrow and if the place were full, I'd imagine parking could be tricky. The Leclerc hypermarket with several shops, cafés, restaurants and a cinema complex is in walking distance, as is the university. A very pleasant one night stay - I would definitely stay here again.

The place was nice for the price. It was far from the center, but it was close to the university, and this was my first concern.

Overall we had a comfortable short stay, but we would look for somewhere a little smarter next time. Hotel easy to find, on outskirts of Pau. Parking easy next to hotel. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. Accomodation is designed for students, and next to another block of student accomodation. Despite this it was reasonably quiet (apart from noisy lift). Decor of room was 'tired' (damp in two places and carpet scuffed and stained). Self catering kitchenette basic, clean and adequately resourced. Bathroom adequate but pipework behind sink looked scruffy/dirty. A sign says the room is cleaned weekly but we were given fresh towels daily.

This hotel is very much like a youth hostel. The kitchenette was useful, although it had no mugs. The bed was just a piece of foam and was very uncomfortable. There were also some dubious stains on the throw. Overall, very basic accommodation and a 2 mile walk into town. It's handy for Pau airport, but definitely as a last resort only.
