The room was excellent and very clean and spacious. Bathroom was modern and good size. As I came by train, the location was beautiful but a 25 minute walk away and no bus service. There was a comfortable sitting area downstairs. It would have been nice to have facilities for coffee/tea etc. I enjoyed my stay but location was a bit isolated.

The staff were excellent at dinner and the breakfast staff and the breakfast itself was especially efficient Our room was small but had a sea view very clean only criticism was a plastic shower curtain over the bath which was very clean but stuck to you whilst showering also no hooks or shelf to put things on like wash bag etc other than that the hotel and staff are great and the view is why we booked all in all a great hotel…

The hotel has had a lot of work done, it’s a lovely hotel with still a few things to be finalised, this will not affect your stay at all, it’s positioned on the beach that has a fab promenade that you can walk on either for miles, The food is very good, we found most of the staff friendly and helpful, we will stay again

Ok stay overall. Average property - on par with what i would expect from a 3 star hotel. Certainly not worth 160£ a night though. Good if you can get a beach facing room. Checkin and checkout process was quick. Pool while was refurbished was quite dirty. I could see sand on the pool floor bottom. Guests came in and went out as they pleased with their shoes on. Hotel location to explore wales is again average. Need to assume an hours travel to reach anywhere decent.

It really was A game if 2 halves . My initial experience was fantastic from the lovely room to the fab pool and the food in the restaurant and not least the lovely location. I was a little apprehensive because of some of the negative views but I stay in hotels all the time with work and I’ve no idea what the moaners are on abt …HOWEVER … 2 staff incidents really dropped my high opinion of the hotel hugely. Day before we left me , my son and one other family were playing with inflatables in the pool . There were NO signs to say inflatables couldn’t used . All of a sudden a member of staff (older, glasses, blond woman) marched into the pool area and barked at the top of her voice “no inflatables are allowed in the pool , you’ll have to remove them all now as another family are coming in to use the pool”!! That other family consisted of a mum and her daughter so that was a total of 3 families in the pool. I felt so sorry for the kids who were crestfallen , doing no harm to anyone and it really left a bitter taste in my mouth. As did the gastapo type ‘investigation’ regarding whether a ‘special’I was querying on my bill actually was on on the menu the night before . The receptionist rang god knows how many people as to whether it was £12 or £9 !! A difference of £3! I train customer service skills in retail for a living and there’s a cut off point you keep a customer waiting and a ‘well how much are we querying here ‘? It was even passed to a manager, felt like a criminal :(

Lovely comfortable stay with friendly staff and a super pool. The breakfast was delicious and a great choice of hot options.

Lovely stay, the location of this hotel blew me away, a private (ish) beach with a fantastic restaurant and bar, the staff were so friendly. The reception were so kind and lovely and really accomodated my kids. I really loved the pool area , it was so fun! perfect having the kiddy pool and the jaccuzi area but the jaccuzi isnt actually a hot one (but water was warm) and i think the spa facilities are being built. My fam and Inplayed board games all night. breakfast was amazing, being able to order dishes rather than just a buffet style. my kids were very difficult at breakfast and there was some confusion about how our booked time for breakfast got changed. the breakfast staff although friendly made us feel awful about it and were very rude even though we apologised profusedly for the erroe (i think reception made the error to be honest) and I felt they were rolling their eyes at us and being quite passive aggresive. Other than that fabulous stay!

Fantastic hotel. Stayed for one night with a toddler and staff were very accomodating with our needs. Easy to navigate around the hotel, all amenities were catered for and good choice of food. We would definitely stay again. Literally on the beach front too and wonderful views.

This place is amazing, from the moment of arrival the staff were super helpful, the room spacious and clean with everything you need. And is it a beautiful location right on the beach. There was loads of choices for breakfast and was cooked fresh and was lovly. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Easy check in with excellent free parking. Clean and well kept. Obviously updating some areas that are very modern. One room had new shower. Our room had lovely sea views. Staff were helpful. Food was great and good value. Right next to the beach. Couldn’t have been better

Nice couple of days..Cannot fault location on the beach. Room a bit bland, but comfortable enough, good family space.

Breakfast was one of the worst experiences I have had at a hotel; staff made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome at the breakfast area. When asked if it was possible to have a croissant I was told I will have to ask if you can or not, but no one came back to confirm; I was ignored, so we left. Informed the reception and was told management would be told about what took place, but no feed back on that. Won’t be staying there again.

We should have checked out the surrounding area before booking. The hotel is directly opposite the old Pontins resort which looks like something from a dystopian movie. The hotel was a bit dated but acceptable. No food available after 9pm either, we arrived at 9:15 so had to wait until the morning for breakfast. The corridors smell of stale food which is very off putting. Lovely position next to the beach but could do with an update.

Okay hotel but on its own not near restaurants. Hit my head in bathroom as bath/shower under the eve of the roof

Loved the location and setting of this hotel, we did miss the pool and sauna which was being updated, the room was nicely decorated and the location was convenient for dining out being close to the town.

Excellent breakfast menu. No buffet or hot plates. Each meal individually cooked. Staff exceptional. Friendly, knowledgeable and nothing too much trouble.

We found the price of drinks to be expensive, beer being £6 a pint. Dinner was only OK in my opinion, however breakfasts were excellent.
