Great hotel with decent sized rooms and good facilities. The location is close to Shinjuku - about a 10 minute walk, but its far enough away to be quiet.
Close to metro, short walk to the beautiful gardens and some good restaurants nearby.

Excellent discovery made last year, this conveniently-located Shinjuku hotel is! Stayed there again, just now, and will be staying every time I am in Tokyo for work! VERY friendly vibe from the service staff, excellent room with FOUR (not one) pillows on the bed, FITTING robes, good breakfast, gym, to name just some key points. Will be foregoing high name brand hotels in the area for this one, for sure.

The property is in an excellent location in a quieter part of Shinjuku, yet within walking distance to all the action and just about 15 minutes to Shinjuku station. Our experience was all positive from the time of check-in, where Alessandro greeted us and was friendly and engaging, until we checked out when he graciously called a taxi for our trip to the airport. The rooms were large by Tokyo standards and were spotless. There were many restaurants a short walk from the hotel and several grocery and convenience stores close by. Honestly can’t think of anything I’d change and would stay here again.

We are were very happy when were stayed here last year that we decided to come back again. The room is big and the couch is comfy to relax and even to watch Japanese tv. The kitchenette is equipped sufficiently to make simple meals/breakfast.
However I think the laundry needs upgrading with newer machines that have passcode locks.

Really enjoyed our 4 night stay, relatively spacious room, nice kitchenette, very clean. Very friendly staff. Within 500 meter of subway. I would absolutely stay here again.

Location is very convenient. This hotel is only steps away from a bus station to Shinjuku and 8 min walking distance to the major subway stations. 7/11 is just around the corner.
The staff there can speak fluent English. I found them very friendly too. One of lady front desk staff help me call the taxi to Shinjuku and show me the easy different options to the airport. They also help taped my broken luggage.
Room is very clean. Enough space to put our 4 luggages inside the room.

We’ve stayed at Citadines four years ago, and liked it well enough to return this year. The place is well maintained, very quiet, and with a great breakfast. A big part of the attraction is the front desk staff. They are very helpful and friendly. A big shoutout to Alessandro in particular, thanks for all your assistance!

The service and helpfulness were impeccable. The room was very clean and spacious. Housekeeping was great and they provided a pair of bath robes daily. The room came with a small kitchenette which was great
The only complaint was that we could not figure out the ventilation and the only way to get airflow was by turning on the AC.
Everything else was excellent. We would go there again!

This hotel furnishes every detail needed for a pleasant and convenient stay. Truly friendly, efficient and knowledgeable staff. Thorough and polite daily maid service. Choice of soft and firm pillows. Large towels, first class shower control water flow, hot/cold adjusting unit. Convenient kitchenette. True black out drapes with overfold to really keep the light out. Large picture window and very efficient A/C system with fine tuning adjustment settings. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location, easy access to the metro, and walkable to the shinjuku center and restaurants. The hotel took care of our luggage for the next trip and the Italian guy at the reception was very helpful with us. I recommend this property

Close enough to the action to walk, but a cab is only 800 yen if you’re tired or hot. It was far enough away to be safe and quiet. The surrounding neighborhood restaurants are very nice.

The rooms were big for Japan standards. We stayed at other hotels in Japan and this hotel had the biggest room. The staff was very nice and helpful. If I come to Japan again I will be staying here. There is a gym and laundry mat on site.

Citadines Shinjuku looks like a run down property. The reception was also looking very cramped up and many places in the hotel specially the flloor corridoes were have a foul smell. The carpets looked run down and there is a major overhaul required in teh hotel. The rooms were small but confortable enough compared to Tokyo standards. The amenities were sufficient. If the hygine part is taken careoff then it is a good hotel to stay.

It’s in a quiet part of Shinjuku just 5 minutes from the metro so really convenient. Rooms are a good size, mattress and pillows were the best ever. I got such good sleep there.

The front desk was friendly and very helpful. However, after staying from other 3 hotels through out our trip this one is a bit disappointing, the room was outdated with no full length mirror. The carpet in front of room is already disintegrating. I guess we were paying for the location. Walking distance to Dotonbori.

I love that they have a gym and staff are extremely nice and helpful! My only complain is the breakfast dining area is too small and can get really crowded, also, buffet selection needs improvement.

We had a good stay, standard hotel, nothing fancy but checked all the boxes and near a fun part of the city.

We had a great stay here for 9 full days. It was our first time in Japan and this place was nice. The rooms were cleaned daily for us. They have a laundry room, gym, and very nice lobby area. The location is about a 15-20 minute walk from JR station. My suggestion is to get on the bus in front of the hotel to get to all the shopping areas. After all the walking you're going to do, trust me, take she bus even if it's for a few blocks. I would stay here again.
