Awesome stay - room was spacious, clean, and looked right out on the Korn Markt in the Alstadt. Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. A must stay if in Heidelberg.

We loved the warm welcome and wonderful suggestions. The area is on the marketplaz. The room was two story with windows overlooking front and the castle. Bed had down blankets and pillows . They helped us arrange laundry service as well as a taxi very early for our departure. Lovely experience.

I loved our room here, it felt like home. We had a beautiful view of the castle, an exceedingly large bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The location was very close to everywhere we wanted to walk and wasn't too difficult to take a bus from the main train station.

Excellent location if you want to be close to Main Street and the Marktplatz in Heidelberg. Most everything is in walking distance. Hotel is old but reasonably maintained. Restaurant is above average and reasonably priced. Staff worked hard to make things right.

Amazing location, friendly staff and really yummy breakfast! When i come back to Heidelberg i would love to stay here again. Highly recommend!

Central location, short distance to most local attractions.

Loved our stay. Friendly staff, clean room, convenient location, great restaurants. Only negative was the proximity of all the bar patrons. Since it was warm, we needed the windows open but the partiers were so loud it made sleep almost impossible.

Great location.. parking was an issue, but, the owner or manager helped with our luggage and was helpful in assisting with parking outside parking structures.

Arrived early and checked in easily, helped with luggage, brilliant position on the Marktplatz (short taxi ride from station), right in centre of all Heidelberg’s sights, restaurant good with breakfast included, and great assistance from staff esp when sorting bus to return to station when leaving. Great stay.

We stayed for 9 nights in May 2024 and had a great time. We used Heidelberg as our stay location while we toured there and around that part of Germany. The Goldener Falke is like a friendly Inn from the old school movies. Great food, great staff, located right on the market square. It was great to come back at the end of the day, unwind and walk the plaza and shops, and greab something to eat at the hundreds of restaurants. It doesn't have all the amenities of a modern large chain hotel, but more of a bed and breakfast in an incredible location. Laundry services were great and affordable. Staff spoke lots of English and were very helpful. Rooms were comfy. Shower water pressure was intense! This is an old and cozy building managed by a nice group of people and we had a fantastic 9 day stay.

Excellent location with a view of the Marktplatz. The room was a comfortable size for 3 persons. Everything was impeccably clean. The staff were helpful and friendly and the buffet breakfast was wonderful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel was in a perfect location for exploring the Old Town of Heidelberg. The hotel was very quaint and the staff were excellent.

Great location, great breakfast

The Goldener Falke hotel in Heidelburg overlooks right onto Marketplatz where the part of the Heidelburg Christmas market is. Its also just a few steps from the Funicular that takes you up to Heidelburg castle. The hotel is small, but extremely comfortable. Great breakfasts in the morning, and the staff are very helpful. This hotel was the cutest/most memorable of our recent 5 city Christmas Market tour through Europe.

The staff at this hotel were very welcoming. I arrived early during their busy lunch rush and they made me feel welcomed. The location is unbeatable.

We loved how charming this hotel was. We have family from Germany that couldn't join us, but staying here helped us feel closer to them. The views of the town and the castle were wonderful. Staff was wonderful. We highly recommend staying here and will likely return ourselves!

We loved the location of this hotel to have access to the Heidelberg Castle (the funicular to get there is around the corner, about 3 minutes walk) and to the Heidelberg Bridge and Neckar River. The breakfast was wonderful and Eva was always smiling & pleasant. Other staff members were also nice. Since the hotel is near restaurants and bars there were loud screams, talking, and laughing til the wee hours of the morning. Since our room fronted the main street and it was hot, we left our windows open therefore we had a hard time sleeping til the bars closed and it was quiet. Also in the morning there are loud noises from the streets being cleaned and trash being picked up (good things). If I return, I'll ask for a room not facing the main street. On another note, there was a lot of dust underneath the beds. We saw this as we were looking for something that fell. In general this was a nice hôtel, great location with a pedestrian friendly area, tasty breakfast, and good people working there.

Our room completely exceeded our expectations! We were a little surprised that there wasn't an actual check in desk, you have to walk through a restaurant to get into the hotel but the staff were very kind and helpful. Once we got to our room, we loved it! The bed was so comfortable and cozy, we slept fantastic! But, the views from our room were just breathtaking! The robes and slippers were just another bonus. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting this area. This location is the absolute best!!

The location is amazing, right on the town center plaza in the middle of everything. Charming historic building. Extremely friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast. Near the corner of the square so easily accessible for taxi. Short walk to anywhere in Heidelberg. Lovely outside seating. Our room overlooked the square so heads up you may hear some early morning activity..street cleaners, delivery trucks, etc. To us this was part of the charm.

The staff was very helpful, restaurant was very good, and the location was just great!
