Beautiful little boutique hotel very comfortable and located in a perfect location. Close to the historic downtown and yet a couple of blocks away from all the noise. The rooms are very comfortable as well. Farid and Jose were very helpful. Loved it!

We had a great stay at Palacio Borghese. The location is within walking distance to everything you need including food, drinks, shops, and the markets. All of the staff was welcoming and helpful. The included breakfast was fresh bread and fruit that was delicious. The hotel had a rooftop with incredible views of the city and Temple.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast, clean, comfortable rooms! We loved our stay and would stay again. They gave great recommendations and the area felt very safe. Was worried about the noise based on previous reviews and our room window being right off the street but with the mini split fan running and white noise on my phone we slept great and no problems with noise.

Club next door was very loud, and the continental breakfast was good, but minimal for the price point, and the same everyday. The jacuzzi tub was too big for the small bathroom, and made it awkard to access the shower, but the service and staff were excellent. Great location, and a beautiful building.

The bathtub was too high to be able to use the shower. And they only supply a small bottle of water in the room. We were surprised that the breakfast included was only continental.

Visited Oaxaca for the 1st time. Absolutely fantastic trip. Oaxaca definitely leaves you with the feeling of having visited Mexico. Family friendly & exciting city. Definitely recommend staying in the Centro area. This boutique style hotel couldn’t be better. Entire staff went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. From setting up tours, dinner reservations, taxis nothing was too big or too small. It has an old style charm with modern conveniences. They do not have the hot tub on the roof anymore as shown in the pictures but that did not take away from the beautiful views of the church & city in the cool of the evening. Am definitely going back & staying here in the future!! *****

This was a beautiful, comfortable boutique hotel. A converted convent! The staff is very accommodating and focused on customer service. It's very clean with a lovely complimentary continental breakfast with optional full breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel. It's delightful!!

Great service, superfriendly staff, we were offered a glass of wine on arrival and they packed our breakfast with coffee to go to have at the airport!
Beds are really big and there is a bath+shower.

The location is excellent as you can walk easily to the best restaurants and the most popular tourist sites from the hotel. We would certainly go back.

The property was a 16th Century convent. Courtyard is super charming and the rooms were immaculate. In particular, I loved Don Jose's smile every time we walked up, Don Pepe's incredible breakfast, and Betty's efficient service. Lovely place.

An excellent hotel we spent 7 days there the hotel is beautiful the staff is fantastic. It is 1 block from Santo Domingo church in a great neighborhood. Are room was spacious and clean . And the staff was very attentive to us . Just a wonderful experience staying there.

This hotel is top notch and beautiful. The room we were in, "VENEZIA" was gorgeous and spacious. My family truly enjoyed it. At all moments of the day and night, there is a friendly staffer ready and willing to help in any way necessary. The location is excellent... just a short walk to the main avenue that heads down to the Zocalo.
The hotel also hands out a list of recommended restaurants. We tried 2 on the list and there's a reason the hotel recommended them... 10/10 for each. We tried Casa Oaxaca and Los Danzantes.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for peace, quite, and luxury all wrapped into one.

My wife and I booked this boutique hotel at the heart of Oaxaca for a 4 day vacation. We arrived kind late due to a flight delay, and we were welcomed by the staff with hospitality. We were advised on the surrounding attractions, places to eat, and events of the day. Our room has a nice view of the central area, and a lovely terrace. Breakfast crew was also warm and friendly, and we were served fresh fruits and pastries everyday. Now the hotel does show its ages with cracking walls and rusty spots. It is the central area, so parking can be spotty on the weekend. It's also a bit noisy at night, so watch out if you are a light sleeper. Overall, this wonderful hotel makes up for the lack top notch hardware with a special touch of Mexican hospitality.

What a fabulous hotel with an incredible staff!! The breakfast was perfect! The juices they serve are delicious! Marco was such a great helper. David too. All the staff including kitchen staff is fabulous. Very friendly. The hotel is located in a very convenient location. Everything is walkable. Lots of great shopping and restaurants around. I will definitely miss them and return soon. Thank you!

We highly recommend this hotel!! Our stay at Palacio Borghese was great! The location is extremely convenient and walkable! Just steps from the wonderful Santo Domingo church! Lots of amazing dining options around! The staffs are exceptional at this hotel! We received a warm welcome and felt cared for throughout out stay! We are so thankful to the hotel for allowing us a early check in as we were extremely exhausted after a long journey. They offered us free juices/water/coffee time to time.Especially one day when we returned to the hotel after a hot day they welcomed us with delicious cold fruit juices. I lived in many hotels around the world but their warm /caring gestures are a rare find now-a-days! They also helped us with directions and and recommendations and called cabs for us when needed.Look nowhere if you want to stay in a beautiful , clean and serene property in the heart of Oaxaca city with amazing staffs!! Thank you Palacio Borghese you are the BEST!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Palacio Borghese Hotel in Oaxaca. The staff were incredibly responsive, kind and helpful. Our room was sparkling. The manager was available and checked in on our comfort, and the building was just beautiful. The only thing we did not like was the level of noise on the street that we could hear in our room at all hours! We highly recommend this Hotel, however.

The hotel is conveniently located one block from the church and plenty of restaurants and shopping. The rooms were clean and service was fantastic, as they made server reservations for us during our stay. We would definitely return to stay here at one of the larger rooms.
