East checkin and checkout. Great free breakfast with lots of choices. Easy in and out parking ramp. Great location. We had a personal pepperoni pizza and chicken Caesar salad Saturday evening for dinner Saturday. Meant we didn’t have to drive or walk anywhere. It was cold and dark outside and we were tired from spending a day with grandson, a student at UW.

Wonderful hotel the only criticism is the toilet in the bathroom. You have to step in the shower to close the door for privacy.

The hotel was in a perfect location - near to Capitol building and State St. The hotel was so clean, the pool is so good. The hotel offers a good breakfast. It was a good stay with family.

I like the property is newer construction, with modern, spacious rooms. Parking was super convenient. The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. It was very comfortable overall. A concern for me was the limited maid service. I also did not feel comfortable that the wifi was not password protected at all. Lastly, I did expect a little more of the breakfast.

The beds are the best I've slept in, best pillows too! Our room was so cute with the couch and desk area and separate sleeping area. It felt like we were in a cute little apartment. Shower pressure was amazing too! We loved our stay!

Booked an upper level room (which costs more) and upon checkin was told the only room available was on the 4th floor. It is an 11 floor hotel and the parking garage was practically empty for the 2 nights/ 3 days we stayed.
The employee I dealt with was in "training" and was not helpful in any way.
You have to pay for parking in a dimly lit garage that was under construction.
The hallways were also very poorly lit. Overall dark interiors.
The "heated" pool was cold.
There were very limited items in the hotel "marketplace" no convenience items avaliable i.e. tylonol, gatorade
Would not recommend to any family or friends, but if you want them to have a subpar experience that is also overpriced then look no further.

Very clean. Staff was helpful, cheerful and friendly. Breakfast was good with lots of variety and staff was on top of replenishing as needed. Only complaint-bed was so soft we sank and the pillows were too plump. These 2 issues may be individual preferences.

The air conditioning unit was quite loud and there was a significant road construction project going on (our room just happed to be on that side of the building).

Easy access to Capitol, downtown, and Monona Terrace. The parking garage is a confusing puzzle. Spots marked “Guest” are for United Healthcare guests. Garage level is B but hotel door is D. Exit is on a different level than entrance. Poorly marked, poor directions from front desk staff. Annoying experience.

You can't beat the location of the Hyatt Madison. We loved the ease of parking and convenient breakfast. We could have done with slightly better water pressure.

Excellent room, very close to the capital building, farmers market, and a short distance to UW. We enjoyed how walkable it was, and the ease of parking ($20 a day in attached garage). The pool was cute. The breakfast was a real delight compared to some lower-class hotels—great eggs, pancakes, hard boiled eggs, options for breakfast tacos, and the standard fare. The staff was polite/helpful and we enjoyed watching all the dogs go out for morning walks at breakfast.
The room was clean, spacious, bright, and comfortable. I hate that Hyatt uses these awful duvet covers that barely fold over the top and don’t actually secure, but that’s a Hyatt problem, not this hotel in particular.

Don’t normally watch a lot of tv, but since my event was rained out (Concert at Breese Stevens), I had extra time on my hand. TV was placed in the middle of my room and was almost impossible to see from bed w/o wrenching my neck. Plus the cable listings didn’t include Channel 51, on which the Brewers were playing, so I missed their game. Cable also had a Dallas Cowboys channel —why? —plus half a dozen Pac8 Channels. Why would anyone in WI want to watch these?

Hotel was average. Lots of construction out front with traffic issues. Price was high with minimal services provided. No maid service for three nights. Had to call for services.
